Yeah - I've been neglecting my journal again. But, it's not entirely my fault this time. Much to my dismay, LJ has been 'sort of' blocked at my work. Not completely - but I can't access my 'friends' page. It's prohibitied becuase it's considered 'social networking'

*sigh* Sucks ass. Although the fact that I used to refresh my friends page like every 10 minutes probably didn't help with it getting blocked. Oops.

Anyway - what the hell is with wierd Russian people adding me as their friends? I've got like 4 or 5 different random people who friended me and 2 of them are wierd Russian journals.

One of the other random friendings was some kind of lame-o advertising spam journal, and the other was some tweeny-emo-chic who spewed terrible poetry. (And the only reason I can figure she might have added me is that we live in the same state).

Mainly because Sweep the Leg is the coolest music video of all time. (Although Zombie Me is probably tied with Jump In as my favorite song).

So, Yuletide assignments went out and I'm pretty chuffed with mine. Admittedly it wasn't a fandom I was expecting, and the requester's 'Dear Writer' post leaves me a bit... perplexed for the moment (as it's a bit contrary to what I'd offered), but I'm looking forward to giving it a go. Thankfully - I've already got a decent plot working itself up in my head. I just need to develop it a bit further to make it make sense with what the recipient wants.
