DOESN’T TUITION COVER ALL EXPENSES?
Tuition and parish subsidy revenue covers 91% of the school’s operating budget. St. James Academy relies on annual, unrestricted giving to help cover the difference between tuition, parish support and the actual cost of educating each student. These funds are critical to advancing our mission as a school community.
Why not set tuition high enough to cover expenses?
- Higher tuition might keep some parents from enrolling their children. We want to make a St. James Academy education available to as many people as possible, regardless of their socioeconomic status.

If I can only make a small gift, does it really make an impact?
Absolutely! Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your gift, combined with those from other parents, alumni, and friends, provides substantial support for the ongoing needs of the St. James community.
