Gert De Tant CEO
Background:
Apart from a Master in Computer Science – specialization in numerical information – Gert obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration at Vlerick Business School. At Vlerick, the idea arose of starting a new company which specializes in Microsoft technology and with a specific focus on integration problems. After 6 years of working as an Enterprise Architect and another 6 years as a Microsoft responsible, Gert started this company in 2011.
Why Sirus?
I wanted to start a company with a boy-scouts-mentality. Quality over quantity was, and still is, my moto. I want teams working together and getting excited about creating the perfect solutions. I wanted a lean structure where people feel comfortable to take responsibility. Sirus is a knowledge-driven company, ready to launch into an innovative future.
My wish for the future?
In the future I want Sirus to continue to specialize in .NET & cloud development and architecture. We are seen as thought leaders and to maintain this we need to self-educate constantly. Smart Cities and Companies will continue to form the main focus, but in addition I want to write another chapter to our data story and further develop our data analytics skills. After all, qualitative information out of data will steer decision making even more in the future.

Justien De Roose Sales Manager
Background:
After obtaining her Master’s degree in Trade & Commerce – Finance, Justien got a Master in General Management at Vlerick Business School. Before joining Sirus, she spent five years as an Account Manager at a large international company, where she discovered her passion for connecting businesses with innovative IT solutions. Today, she leads Sales and Marketing at Sirus, focusing on building strong client relationships and exploring new opportunities in .NET, M365 and data.
Why Sirus?
I was looking for a smaller environment where I could work more closely with our customers. The challenging aspect of Gert’s Smart City ambitions immediately triggered my attention. My job at Sirus consists of finding new and challenging assignments for our employees, following up with our clients and discovering new IoT and Smart City opportunities. I simply just love the whirlwind of things coming my way. My job is varied and keeps me awake.
My wish for the future?
First of all, I want to continue walking the path we’re on right now. We have an amazing team with great people whom you can depend on. I want to continue to grow and gain more knowledge so that our customers are ensured to get the best service. The Smart Cities of the future present a tremendously exciting challenge and I want to make sure we’re the first to jump on this train toward innovation.

Jens Rappé Teamlead Data & Operations
Background: With a Master’s in Operations and Technology Management, Jens brings extensive experience in project management, operations, and consultancy. He has led projects across various sectors, specializing in business process improvement and change management. Now, as Team Lead of the Data team at Sirus, he combines strategic insight with hands-on management, coordinating projects that turn data into actionable insights for clients, with a focus on Smart Cities and IoT.

Background: With a Master’s degree in Sociology from KU Leuven and a career spanning roles like Business Analyst, Enterprise Architect and Chief Architect, Greet knows what it’s like to lead diverse teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Greet’s career path has always revolved around helping organizations optimize their technology. At Sirus, she guides the M365 team and internal competence working, ensuring smooth operations and helping the Sirus team members grow while making the most of their technological skills.

Gert’s degree in Industrial Engineering, with a focus on Electromechanics and Automation, laid the foundation for over two decades of experience in IT consultancy, software development, and architecture. Throughout his career, he has worked as a Software Engineer, IT Consultant, and Product Manager, building a diverse set of technical and management skills. As Team Lead of the .NET team at Sirus, Gert ensures that each project is crafted to fit the client’s needs, blending custom solutions with solid architectural principles.
