Our mission is to build and provide software and services to solve problems while beating out to the punch our competitors in the speed we introduce features while keeping a very close connection with our users.
The Sirio Network has been created and is operated by a single person under the alias of "Ascellayn".
Our projects are written primarily in Python, with others being pure HTML / CSS / JavaScript and are mostly open-source or source-available.
On April 6, 2020, The Sirio Network was born from the curiosity of repurposing old hardware into something useful. While The Sirio Network was drastically different at the time, at first being a side project of a Home-NAS and self-hosting game servers (under the name Sirio Game Network, "SGN"), TSN was clearly set in stone to stay. After the shutdown of the SGN Servers, the SGN name was eventually rebranded as TSN due to a certain project called Flashcord which just so happened to use The Sirio Network's domain. Flashcord carried the values and eventual tagline that the modern-day Sirio Network would eventually follow:
PUSH LIMITS
... of even the most basic ideas
BE AS PURE AS POSSIBLE
... by doing everything yourself
AND BE RIDICULOUSLY FAST
... at beating up the competition in bringing new experimental ideas to the table
At the time, Ascellayn was starting to name their devices (mostly for convenience), he however did not have any inspiration for his brand new NAS and asked his friend Ectalite, they thought of modifying Ascellayn's username (which was "Sirius B / SiriusBYT" back then) and came up with "Sirio".
The name then stuck around for any server related projects. The rest is history.
The Sirio Network and all its associated derivative projects are all made by Ascellayn.
Powered by determination and the love of solving even the most ridiculous problems, The Sirio Network now counts more than a dozen projects all creating a whole eco-system that is truly unique and one of a kind.
