Hi, my name is Sara and I'm 26 and live in NY. I'm a zoning analyst, by trade, but I'm planning on going to grad school soon. I am also a musical theater lover, I'm fairly liberal and very interested in politics. I won't dissuade you from commenting if your political beliefs differ, because I welcome all viewpoints, but occasionally I will do a political rant that may offend you a bit. I have one or two friends who are Republicans, but I draw the line at Bush!fangirls, sorry :P
My fandoms include: Brothers and Sisters, Gossip Girl, How I Met Your Mother, House, Veronica Mars, The Office, My Name is Earl, 24 The OC, Once & Again, Supernatural, Firefly, BTVS, ANTM, American Idol, Gilmore Girls *though not so much anymore*, and Harry Potter. Although, I'm not really an active member of the fandom.
My favorite musicians: Ben Folds, Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Buckley, Ryan Adams, Coldplay, The Killers, Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Arctic Monkeys, Jack's Mannequin, David Gray, Matt Nathanson, Taylor Swift...there are more, but my mind's kind of blanking.
My ships: Dan/Serena, Chuck/Blair, Barney/Robin, Ted/Robin, Lily/Marshall, Jim/Pam, Veronica/Logan, Cameron/House (yes, I'm one of them), Ron/Hermione, Draco/Hermione, Brian/Justin, Jack/Ennis, James/Sirius, Ryan/Marissa, Simon/Kaylee, Mal/Inara, Wash/Zoe...I go for conventional as well as completely unconventional ships, as you can see.
This is a fandom journal with some real life updates thrown in. Mostly though, it's fangirl squeeing and episode recaps/reviews, as well as my insights, as misguided as they may be, into my favorite tv shows.
