Ever wonder what your emotions would look like if they took on something more than those drops in your vials, denizens of Aprigen? Thought of what those metaphors on feelings would be like should they become literal? No?

Too bad.

Because now any time you let them get to you, something's going to come to be from it. And it will be quite... real.

Manifestation Event

The Eidolons have been more unstable than usual lately. And this? Has borne some very interesting results as the characters will soon find out. Any particular potent emotion, whether it's their general demeanor or a triggered rush of one emotion in particular (or maybe several!), will produce a physical embodiment of it. It can be an object, a creature- even a person (and I use that term loosely). Either way, it's not going to go away. Will it follow them or will it hunker down in their living quarters? Will it cause them grief or catch them a break? Either way, they're in for a very, uh. Interesting time. At least until the Eidolons get a hold on themselves.

Will they try to conquer these emotions or will they attempt to rebottle them? Or will they run? It won't be easy either way. They will find that emotions aren't such fragile things when given form.

On Days one and two- that is, Friday and Saturday respectfully -people will begin to see strange sights. They will be brief glimpses of objects or things that just come out of no where for one moment. And then they vanish the next. Whatever object or creature they are will be based on the emotion more prevalent or overbearing in that moment. It might be something relevant to the character or it might not be so obvious. Either way, there's something strange going on. Something off about this place, but it's not quite clear what's going on. And it won't be at first. At least until...

Days three, four, and five (Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). It is then that people will start to notice that these things that they thought they were seeing at first? Are real. They're sticking now- and won't be going away any time soon. Feeling restless? So is that walking clock that goes bouncing along after you, its alarm going off every minute on the dot. Ridden with guilt? Oh- hey, what's with the weights on your shoulders all of a sudden? And why can't you take them off? Feeling particularly happy? So is that little clam hitting up some z's in the corner of your room. Angry with someone? That raging bear will make sure they know it. Actually, it might make more than sure. Hope whoever can run fast!

And by the way, these embodiments are pretty nonstop in their intentions. They aren't living, after all. No need for rest! [Note: These are just some examples of ideas.]

On the sixth day, the Eidolons will finally regain themselves enough to stabilize matters and these physical beings will become no more than a figment of the imagination once again. But, of course, the damage has already been done, hasn't it?

Things to Note

✔ These manifestations can be relevant to your canon. Or completely irrelevant. This is up to the player.

✔ They can be silly, crazy, ridiculous, scary, serious, and anything in between. The ball's in your court.

✔ Emotions directed specifically towards someone will follow that person around. May it be advised that this isn't the best time to get angry at someone... or maybe it is?

✔ Again- during day three through day five, whatever spawns then will not leave. At least- not easily. But if your character manages to conquer them? They just might find their vial a little fuller than it was before...

✔ Of course, they could always just survive until the end, too!

I will be updating with reminders as things progress, but this is the general overview!
