Change is the only constant thing. Tonight, I am so knackered. It was a very hectic day at work… and I couldn’t really be here (on the blogosphere) as I would have loved to today. Sorry, but the quotes will wait till tomorrow. Instead, here is something to take away from me. Continue reading “Good Night Giggles!”

Another Blessed Day…
It’s another day to take positive steps in the right direction. Another glorious day to encounter people – the good, the bad and the ugly.
Learn to love yourself enough so that when someone enters your life and treats you negatively, you can stand up for yourself and have the strength to let them go. Continue reading “Another Blessed Day…”
Life and Death…
One of the hallmarks of being human is that there is a price to pay for living. That price is DEATH. Yeah, the ultimate reality is that death must come when it will come. Learning to absorb this reality that death is inevitable is very important. That way, you get prepared to receive such ‘bad’ news whenever it comes. It is always a big shock when such news is broken to us about loved ones or friends. It’s not only devastating, it crumbles ones world when loved family members depart. Continue reading “Life and Death…”
Stop The Blame Game…
It became a destructive force for you
It became a nightmare you want to wake up from
And you ask yourself
Why me?
Why you?
Who would it have been?
Me?

Solitude: Self-Discovery in Aloneness
“Alone time is when I distance myself from the voices of the world so I can hear my own.” — Oprah Winfrey

In solitude you find – silence, peace, calm, ideas, creativity, and an inner voice that speaks to you. To find solitude is to find that moment of aloneness, when you retreat from routine activities, the crowd and company of others to connect with yourself. This requires a sense of discipline.
Life is too short!

“Life is too short” is a common phrase we say at random. You can affirm to this statement or not based on your views about life.
To me, it is true since no one lives forever. But on a general meaning, it is not really too short. So I’d say that I am not a big fan of the statement – Life is too short! It’s not all that short in the real sense.
God has given each one of us enough time to do something worthy in life.
To use our gifts and talent and leave a mark.
To teach others what we know.
To bring a smile on a distraught face.
To change the world with our noble contributions.
All there is to do is to put in our best and live our ultimate purpose in life.
However, whether you live up to your expectations in life is entirely your own prerogative. It is up to you to do your best or not. It is up to you to find the purpose for which you are created.
I have been doing a bit of reflections on some recent happenings in my life. And as I’ve stated earlier, I am reiterating it, yet again, that love and smiles are all I can consciously give to this world, while I keep doing the things I love to do.
One thing remains a fact though – HE alone knows the reason for our existence and where the compass of our lives is leading us to. We can only live for today. We can only strive to become who we truly want to be because one by one, we will go when the time is up.
Therefore, I hope you are fulfilling what your life’s purpose is. I hope you are doing those things that put a smile on your face. If you are surrounded by people who make you happy, hold them tightly and appreciate them always.
Love to you all on this beautiful Saturday. 🙂
