OK, so I've been MIA for a good few months now. I'm a college student, an aspiring robotic-ist actually... And the new semester started up late August and as life hasn't been that pleasant to me the last few years, to make the story short, it is pertinent that I dedicate what time I have to my studies... Especially since I'm in a class that will make or break my degree. *thumbs up for life* Good news, I'm kicking it's ass so far and I'm somehow pulling my RL together pretty well. The other reason I haven't been online at least every now and then is that mid-August I started a relationship and find myself rarely home. Seeing as I've had to contend with a desktop system, that means I was without regular computer usage until I could afford a laptop for my classes (so totally needed one...!). He didn't have a router so internet was restricted still. Meh, I needed that time for studying anyways. (I've literally had my head in the books learning Operating Systems for the last 2.5 months, lol. So, I have interwebs at his place now and wanted to let you all know I do plan on continuing my stories. Just not until I have time to dedicate to them again. I'll be working on stories gradually so they might get updated infrequently. (thankfully I have a decent backlog of screens to work with)

WARNING: Rated Mature for Adult Situations, Nudity and Foul Language

The first chapter of Audrey Fullens’s story is now up! This story is starting off in the Founder’s teen years, so we’ll be considering it Generation 0 until she ages up to a YA. I’m also going to attempt to write this one in first person with minimal notes from myself. So far, I think it’s taken some of the charm out of the story, so I will may change it when Generation 1 starts. Let me know if you prefer it this way or not.

I had fun making new templates for profiles and intro pics, btw. I’m very fond of them! Well, enjoy!

So, I’m Audrey Fullens. I’m an orphan, well sort of. My parents left me behind as a child and left for BFE to never been heard from again. I was raised by my grandmother, but because I’m too much of a “problem child” I was passed on to my Aunt Starlight. *rolls eyes* She’s supposed to support me financially until I graduate, or something. Whatever… We moved out to Legacy Island in hopes the smaller city life would be better for my “development.” I’m not amused in the slightest…

Audrey: Great… Why’d we have to move out here? *sigh* I’m going to die of boredom… Well, might as well see what this condo has.

Audrey: So… is that all the amenities this place has - a room with a treadmill and weight machine and a communal laundromat? I wouldn’t call those 4 star amenities…

(Author’s Note: Starlight, just behind Audrey, was a just a random sim that popped up in CAS. It’s highly probably she is a template from a Crescendo, most likely Guernica, so I’m linking kittenmittons just to be safe)

Audrey: Oh, this is better! If that construction shit wasn’t there, this would have a great view of the sea.

Audrey: Ahh, this is more like it.

Audrey: I guess I could get used to this place…

I had enough of the hot tub, so I figured I’d gussy up some and get ready to explore the town. Star was probably going to be upset I didn’t tell her I was leaving, but it’s technically my place, so she can shove off…

Audrey: Hmm, I wonder if there’s some place with a studio here…? Star said I’d have to wait to get my guitar, but there’s NO way I’m going to be without my music for more than a few days…!

I got myself a taxi and gave myself a tour of the town. The guy was pretty nice, he even gave me some tips on stuff to do around and about so I made sure to tip him. He dropped me off at the community center in the middle of town.

Audrey: This is the community center, eh…? The taxi driver said I’d be able to play here, so let’s find that studio…

Audrey: Definitely not here…

Audrey: What is this, a mini library…?

Since I was here, I figured I might as well see what books they had.

Audrey: Raymundo’s Adventure, eh? I haven’t read this in ages…

Ahh, this book really brings me back memories - when I was small my grandma used to read this to me every night – so I read it for old time’s sake. I wouldn’t admit it to anyone, but I was going to miss my sweet grandmother. I’d have time left to jam it out after anyways.

I continued my search after, just like I had decided.

Audrey: *looks around* Let’s see what’s up here…

Guitar: *glow* AHHHHHHHHH! *glow*
Audrey: Found it!

Audrey: Alrighty then... *stretch* Let’s get some groove on!

Audrey: Aww yeah, man! This is the shits!

There’s nothing better than losing yourself in the music…!

But everyone needs sleep, I guess.

Audrey: *yawn* Ahhh, geez… What time is it now?

Audrey: Guess I should get home then…

Audrey: Oh, hello there police officer.
Officer: Are you Miss Audrey Fullens?
Audrey: Umm, yeah… But why would you need to know?
Officer: Ma’am you’re out after curfew. You’re going to have to come with me.
Audrey: You’re kidding me, right?

Audrey: Oh, great, first night and I’m already getting’ a lecture. What’s taking her so goddamn long anyways?

Starlight: Oh my god! What is wrong with you?! We just moved here this evening and I already have the police bringing you home?!
Audrey: Woah, woah, woah... You never told me this place had a curfew for teens. It’s not like I did anything intentionally. Chill…
Starlight: Chill?! You had a run in with the COPS! There is NO way I’m going to let this slide, no matter what excuse you come up with. Your grandmother may have been easy on you, but I sure as hell will not spoil you like a little brat…! You are officially grounded, now go to bed this instant!
Audrey: Geez, I was going to go to bed anyways…

I got up the next morning and, lucky me, I had my first day of school

so I grabbed some breakfast, got dressed

Audrey: Mmm, these waffles ain’t bad… I guess Aunt Star can actually cook decently…

and jumped on the school bus.

Audrey: Is it just me, or does he look my age…?

School was boring… but it was over soon enough, I guess. I was grounded, but there was no way in hell I was going home to bore myself to death and Aunt Star wasn’t going to be home anyways. She had her first day of work at the stadium.

I figured the community center would be a nice place to sit down and get my homework done. It seemed like a good atmosphere to work in and maybe Star won’t chew me out if I actually do my homework.

Audrey: Ugh… Homework is nothing but suckage. Why did I even think I’d be able to get this done when I wasn’t even paying attention to class anyways?

I managed to finish it, though I highly doubt any of it was actually right. Oh, well!

Audrey: Screw this place, I’m going to go out on the town and have me some fun!

That means its Club Time!

Audrey: Wow, this place sure is poppin’… Oh well, they don’t seem to card here so it’ll have to do.

Despite it being practically empty this place is pretty cool. I mean they got a bar, a retro dance floor, foggers and flamethrowers and they even have a bubble blower! I was fairly impressed.

Audrey: Oh yeah! Getting my groove on!

Blonde: Hey, you must be new in town. I don’t think I’ve seen you around.
Audrey: Yeah, I just moved here yesterday.
Blonde: Nice, you move here for work?
Audrey: Work…? Ahaha, well um…

Audrey: Oh, look at the time…! I’m out past curfew again. Sorry, gotta run!

Blonde: Curfew…? She wasn’t of age, was she…?

Audrey: Whew, that was close. I almost got picked up by the cops again…

Smug Audrey is smug.

Audrey: No lecture for me tonight.

Starlight: What The Fuck…!! Didn’t I tell you last night you were grounded?! Do you not understand what that means?!
Audrey: Woah, there’s nothing to do here and I even made sure to do my homework. It’s not like I got into any trouble…

Starlight: Grounded means you come home straight after school and you STAY home! Not do your homework and stay out of trouble. Just because I work the evenings does not mean you can sneak out and do whatever you want. This is my house and you WILL do what I say!
Audrey: Say that again? Whose house is this? Last I remembered it was in MY name, not yours! Don’t get all high and mighty just because you’re my ‘guardian.’
Starlight: That’s it! You may own this house, but I’m the one paying the bills. In the corner, NOW!

*gruble grumble grumble*

This sucks…

Audrey: *wipes tear* I’ll never forgive her for this…

I had to stand in the corner for 15 sim!minutes… And guess what I find when I finished?

Star was sleeping in MY bed. OH, HELL TO THE NO!

Audrey: Are you fucking kidding me?!
Starlight: Don’t you raise your voice at me like that.

Audrey: ‘Don’t raise your voice at me’?! You’re sleeping in MY bed!! Didn’t I tell you, you don’t fucking own this house! You don’t get to sleep in my bed just because it’s the most comfortable one here. Especially after you put me in the damn corner!
Starlight: Alright, look I’m sorry. I didn’t think you’d be so upset.
Audrey: Is this what you meant by 'not spoiling me like a little brat'? By taking my stuff and calling it yours? Huh?! That’s just downright stealing! Get out of my room!

Starlight: Wow, talk about a temper.
Audrey: Will you get out? I have school in the morning.

School came and went and even though I was still grounded, I figured screw it. It’s not like anything is going to change. My horrible aunt’s still going to chew me out and run around like she owns the place until I graduate. The kids in my class don’t pay any attention to me, so school is lame. I just needed a breather, so I sat down to mull things over on the playground across the school for a bit.

I ended up running into this kid after a bit. He was kinda cute, so I figured I’d go down for a chat.

Blonde Guy: Hey, aren’t you that new girl at school. Audrey, was it?
Audrey: Uh, yeah, do we know each other?
Blonde Guy: Yeah, I’m Dustin Pleasant. We’re in the same class.

Audrey: Dustin…? Are you sure? I don’t recall meeting a Dustin…

Dustin: Yeah, I mean, you sit in front of me in that crazy Geography teacher’s class. You know I hear she’s like one of those crazy cat ladies. Her house is filled to the brim with cat stuff, kinda like Dolores Umbridge’s office.

Audrey: Oh, do the cats move in the pictures too? Because I’d pay to see that!
Dustin: Woah… Please tell me she doesn’t seriously believe that can really happen… Ok, well, I’m going to go hit the can… so… yeah.

I figured I’d wait for him. I mean it doesn’t take that long to use the bathroom right?

Audrey: What’s taking him so long…?
Redhead: She knows he’s not coming back, right…?

Well, he was taking too long, so I went over by the bathrooms to wait.

Audrey: Oh hey, so you were done. Look, I need to go home soon before my aunt realizes I snuck out again, but I was wondering if you’d want to come see my place. We’ve even got a hot tub on the roof.

Dustin: Look, I don’t know what you were expecting, but you’re really not my type so I suggest you give up now. Go tone your chicken bones up and maybe I’ll reconsider. *leaves*

Well, that didn’t end well…

I waited until I got home and then…

Audrey: *RRRRRRRAAAGGEEEEEEEEEE* W T F?!

Audrey: *huff huff huff* He humiliated me! Boys are so fucking immature!

And since there was nothing to do, I got bored and fell asleep early.

You could blame it on my foul mood when I went to sleep the night before, but I just wasn’t in the mood to try being the good little girl and Star had really been getting on my nerves lately…

So I thought up a way to get back at her.

Audrey: Hehehe, I bet her boss will just be just thrilled when she has to go into work with a head of bright blue hair.

I was hoping she’d walk in to me doing my homework so she’d think I was in there trying to study, but she didn’t even roll over in her bed so I sat next to that disgusting pile of clothes for no reason. Star is such a slob it’s disgusting, I tell you. She won’t pick up her clothes, do the laundry or even take care of her dishes.

I was headed to the bus for school and I realized…

Audrey: You know… I REALLY don’t feel like going to class to get my face laughed off at by Dustin and his friends. Screw school! I’m definitely going to get in trouble for it, but I’m gonna go rock out at the community center instead.

I wasn’t counting on an audience though…

Audrey: Oh, wow. I didn’t know you were there watching… *blushes slightly*

Guy: Oh, I didn’t mean to intrude…

Guy: I heard you from downstairs and thought maybe you were doing an impromptu performance.

Audrey: Really? You thought I was good enough to do my own show?

Guy: What are you talking about? That was some rad crunk you were getting out there! I’d totally pay to see some of that.

Audrey: Aww, thanks. *quirks head shyly* I’m Audrey, what’s your name?
Guy: Oh, my bad. I’m Kurt Klien.

Audrey: Kurt, huh? You know, you’re totally my type.

Kurt: Oh, I am, am I? *lay on the charm* So, you like the older men then, do you?

Audrey: Are you kidding me? Boys my age are so immature and totally just looking for a trophy girl. I don’t want to be caught up in that shit. You, though, I’d totally hold hands anywhere with you.

*subtly moves hands closer*

Kurt: Woah, hold up there, little girl. Holding hands is not mature at all.
Audrey: It’s not…?

Kurt: I know something else much more fun that boys your age know nothing about. So, how about it?

Audrey: He’s so dreamy…! I’ll try anything once!
Kurt: Will you now? I'll have to keep that in mind. *wink*

Audrey: O M G…! This is, like, THE best first kiss EVER!

Kurt: Come with me then.

I thought I was following him, but somehow I ended up a bit lost…

Audrey: Wait, where’d he go…? I know he went this way, and the only thing that’s over here besides the art room is the bathroom… Did he want me to follow him in there…?

Audrey: *looks around* OMG, this is kinda embarrassing, but he did say to follow him…

Kurt: What are you doing? Get in here.
Audrey: Oh, well, if you insist.

Wow…! It hurt a bit at first, but after that it was AMAZING…! Men are way better than boys!

I wasn’t really sure what I was doing, so I was a bit worried…

but I must have done something right because he seemed ecstatic afterwards. *full of pride*

Kurt: Oh Hell Yeah! That’s what I’m talkin’ about! Young girls are, hands down, THE best!

Audrey: Oh yeah! I’m totally awesome!

Audrey: You were totally right. That was much more fun than holding hands! Plus, you’re totally sexy. So sexy I want to gobble you up whole!

Kurt: How about you show me then? We still have time for another round.

What can I say, I was smitten. So much fun!

Kurt: Oh, but let me get something real clear. I’m not responsible for any accidents, alright? So make sure it doesn’t happen.
Audrey: Accidents…? Make sure what doesn’t happen?
Kurt: Look, Audrey. I’m not fath-
Intercom: Audrey Fullens! Please come to the front immediately!

Audrey: Again?! But I was with an adult...
Police Officer: Young lady, it’s not safe being out this late at night. Your parents will be worried sick.
Audrey: Pfft… What parents?

Kurt: Ahhh, screw it! If she pops I’ll just throw her to the curb…

So, I was escorted home by a cop once again…

Audrey: Aww, man, and I was having such a great day, too.

Thankfully Star was sound asleep when I got home so I didn’t get chewed out for the shower prank, skipping school, sneaking out or getting brought home by the cops. I was totally exhausted anyways, so getting sent into the corner was the last thing I wanted…

Audrey: This is the best day ever! No school, a new boyfriend, WooHoo, and I didn’t get in trouble for any of it.

Next time we learn just how much of a scumbag Kurt is and things get a little rough for Audrey as the consequences for her actions start to pile up. Starlight’s got her hands full with this girl…

Haha, I ended up getting distracted from writing again... Last time it was Game of Thrones and josei manga, this time? Sailor Moon fanfiction, lol. I've got a thing for Usagi/Serenity x Mamoru/Endymion pairings. I'm a sucker for the Mature fics, they're like my romance novel fixes. Yeah I know it's a bit creepy, but I can't help but turn all fangirl while reading them. I literally read them for 4 days straight. So, I have to give a shout out to Lady M. Harris and Princess Destiny for their amazing skill at writing smexy-ness.

But aaannyyways~! I'm almost done with the first chapter in my new story. I've edited all the images and I'm finishing up the writing. It's in first person atm, and it starts off really slow so not sure how entertaining the first chapter is going to be, but she'll live an interesting life. I'm starting her off as a teen though... It's necessary for her to get her view on men and relationships.

I should be done writing tonight or tomorrow after I follow up on my interview call.

Ok, so I feel the need to apologize a bit... I'm probably going to start slacking on The Madisons! soon... I slacked a bit before due to wanting to watch Game of Thrones now that the season is over. Can't wait for next year, btw~! I'm also keeping up with True Blood regularly, but that hasn't been an issue yet.

On top of that I'm looking for a job (which I have an interview Monday~!) and hopefully I get it so that isn't going to help much... But now, I've slipped back into my manga obsession. I've been an avid reader since high school... I even learned Japanese so I could read the near 500 imported volumes I own. I've grown out of most shoujo, but josei has got a strangle hold on me like no tomorrow and I just happened to find a few scanlated series... (They're harder to find translated than shoujo.)The hunt has begun with that. And then there's the Wheel of Time series I've been wanting to re-read. So... There's a chance I may not update regularly in the near future... *cough cough* Well, I should say a chance that updating will slip my mind. (curse my attention span...)

Thankfully I am midway through with the first part of Audrey's story. I've gotten myself sucked into it so I'll probably pop out a few updates on that while slowly doing The Maisons! 1.7... The adorables that are her children have me held hostage. That and the creating of masterful templates for their profiles and such. (I'm a graphic fiend...) I need to make a dag-gone list so I remember though... Anyways, I'm dropping this here now in case I disappear off the face of the Earth, which I tend to do subconsciously...

Anyways, because I've reverted to my manga obsessed fandom, here~! <3

The Madisons! 1.6

Warning: monotony, some woohoo and awkward moments

Yeah, this one was a bit boring to write... It's the same old same old in The Madisons, which is partly the reason it took me so long to get this done. Eh, but it's part of who they are, so sue me, lol. Terrance does get some hints of romance though and we get another surprise, surprise from Veronica and Justin. Hope you enjoy.

And we’re back right where we left off at The Madisons! with the twins having aged up to kids. In identical outfits and identical hair… I did change the style because I like the pigtails more~!

Here we have Helena, who is now insane… I guess all the favored attention from her father as a baby gave her delusions…? She’s only mildly afflicted as a child, though it grows drastically later.

And then there’s sweet little Alana whose toddler lessons have taught her the importance of family, as she rolled Family Oriented. She gets more attention from her father now as she’s fond of logic and working with her hands. 8D

And the first thing that happens… Helena walks in on Alana in the nude. Yep. They both get fairly embarrassed, which is beyond me because it’s nothing they won’t see on themselves, being nearly identical and all.

Anyways, Alana continues her shower and Helena stops off to hug her baby sister.

Ami: D’awwww!

And promptly rolls a want to write - actually they both do - so she gets started on her first novel, Tricksy Gnomes.

Yvie is a good girl and works on her homework as her mother continues walking around skimpy in her lacey bra thong. Justin approves. The children are immune because, like Norah here, they’ve been exposed to it since a tender age.

Justin: How’s the homework going?
Yvie: Almost done, I just hate science… What good is it going to do me anyways?
Justin: For one it teaches you to understand the dangerous nature of things. And that’s very important! Even a small match can cause a raging fire within minutes due to its properties, dear…
Ami: And he would know about that, sweetie. Slackers in his field end up with infernos.
Yvie: I still hate it...

Alana: Hey mom, what kind of books do we have? I want to do some research for a novel!
Veronica: Well, we don’t have too many, but we do have the basics on some skills and a few fantasy; your brother and father love The Warlock of Palladia if you need any examples of good novels.
Alana: I’ll have to read up on them then!
Ami: She’s such a sweetheart!

And then maintenance… >__>

Ami: She looks like she wants to kill someone... Meep!
Veronica: Oh, stop it! This alarm just sticks is all.

I followed the kids to school and was greeted with Helena mid-peepee dance, lol.

Terrance/Yvie: *stare and sigh*
Alana: Oh, wow, I wonder what school is gonna be like! *dash*

Veronica: Good morning, little sunshine! *nose snuggle*

Insane little Norah, just because!

Norah: Mommy loves meh most... A-huh, yes she does!

And time for work! Veronica takes most of the small calls gladly.

But when she comes home, she’s a bit disappointed with this scene.

Veronica: Why is only one of them doing their homework...?
Ami: Because the other is having a blast playing video games. *points*

Veronica: Helena… Why aren’t you over there with you sister doing your homework?
Helena: I was going to...
Veronica: No excuses, you go do your homework now.

Still the strict mom...

Alana: It’s your fault, you should have known better.
Helena: *mope*

Helena goes back to the TV after homework to watch the shopping network...?

And Alana begins her novel writing now that she’s had time to research.

Terrance is at work (bookstore), but where is Yvie you ask.

She’s at the Shark’s residence trying to make friends.

Yvie: Who in their right mind watches the Shopping Network for fun?!
Ami: *cough*

Yvie: Screw this, I’m outta here. This is NOT worth my sanity...
Shark Kid: Shh, this is the good part!
Yvie: Weirdo...

Ami: 0___0 Pedo-man!! Run Yvie!
Shark Pedo-man: What is this...? Is it really a little girl I see...? Must... resist... urges... to...
Yvie: *dash* This place is freaky!

Back home, the family is having dinner together. Terrance needs to finish his homework before anything else, it seems.

Herp Derp! Time for bed, twins.

On top of learning to talk, Norah gets potty trained today. I wonder where V stores her energy...

Terrance: So, I heard you went home with a friend after school. Did you have fun?
Yvie: I prefer to forget it even happened...
Terrance: Oh... well that sucks...

They’re still lovey-dovey, as usual.

Veronica: So what do you think? Good idea, or is it too late?
Justin: Any excuse to jump into bed with you makes me happy, Sunshine.
Ami: Are they talking about what I think they are...?

They get interrupted as the kids come home from school - duty calls and Veronica runs off.

Justin: Hi, son.
Terrance: Hey, dad. I have an hour before work... Hmm... Probably should do my homework.

Fires rage

and children do their homework.

Terrance runs to work as Veronica gets home and Alana pops in to do her homework just in time.

Terrance: Bye mom, I’m off to work!
Veronica: Good, they’re both doing their homework... Have a good day Terrance!

Helena: *grumble* How come she didn’t get in trouble...? *grumble*
Ami: Because she didn’t get caught, dear.
Veronica: Honey, I think Code Teddy is in effect tonight; we should probably get to bed early.
Justin: Sounds good to me. *smirk*

It’s an advantage to fall into the background sometimes. Yvie got forgotten, and thus didn’t get scolded for not doing her homework yet. She’s watching Norah anyways, right?

Yvie: Aww, come on! I totally told you to jump there...! *bangs controller*
Ami: How do they not hear her raging...?

And because I’m a curious creeper, we watch Code Teddy.

While the other kids were off to bed, Helena decided she wanted to write her delusions in her chronicles before they slipped through her brain fingers.

Veronica and Justin came out after their fun and what more would a child want than to hug her mother? Veronica notices something though...

Veronica: Wait...? Why is she still awake? It’s midnight.

Veronica: Helena, I love you dear, but you need to go to bed. You have school in the morning.
Helena: Its ok, mom, I was just headed to bed.

Seems Yvie broke the TV with her distraught gaming...

Veronica: These kids... They need to be gentler on the electronics.
Ami: At least she didn’t throw the controller at the TV...
Veronica: What? She was playing games and didn’t invite me?
Ami: *cough cough*I think there was a reason...

Justin spends much of his time these days working on mastering his logic, which you can see here… He doesn’t even take time to put his book down when he swaps it for chess; he knows he’ll be reading it in between plays - with himself.

And the morning brings sibling loves~! Helena wanted to hug her older sister!

Alana: So, you don’t hate me now, right?
Yvie: What? I never hated you from the start; your other half, yes, but not you.
Alana: Isn’t that saying she still hates part of me...?

She decides to pay it no mind and fills her time before school playing with blocks.

Alana: So, do you really think mom and dad are going to have another baby? I mean that’s what they were talking about last night.
Helena: So that is what Code Teddy meant.

Helena: Wait... Is it even possible for them to have more? I mean they’re like old!
Alana: I have no idea...

Teen Yvie~! She picks up on her parent’s work ethic and rolls ambitious... Or maybe it’s because she thinks that’s the only way she’ll get noticed... Anyways, she got a slightly different mix of genes from her parents than Terrance, meaning they’re similar but I think she takes after her dad a tad more. And is it me, or did she get skinnier?

Veronica: Honey, I have an announcement! I’m pregna- Wait, is that our daughter over there?!
Yvie: *yawn* Sleepy...
Justin: Sunshine? Are we having another baby?! *awestruck*

Terrance seems to be rather good at cooking. He manages to cook a few meals in between school, work, and homework autonomously for the family, which I find crazy. The guy is a natural do-good family man.

Justin is fabulous at educating the kids; it’s how he spends most of his spare time not skilling/sexing his wife.

Terrance: Hey, dad... How am I supposed to find myself a nice girl? I mean I’m not interested in any of the girls at school and work takes up the rest of my time, so how should I go about finding one?
Justin: Son, it all comes down to priorities. You have to choose what’s more important at the time.

Helena: Don’t even look at me like that, go to mom if you want your potty chair emptied.

Terrance: Hey, boss? I’m gonna have to give my notice of leave. Yeah, it’s just too much with school and family.

The twins decided to try their hand running a bake sale… Helena did the cooking and Alana would be sell the goods.

It’s a pretty good showing from the townsfolk, if I must say. Why Veronica is thinking of wedding bells, I don’t know, but Terrance seems to be smitten by Starla. Love at first sight, yes?

Terrance gets home, rather stinky, I must say, and excited.

Yvie: I’m only just starting it, so it’ll probably take a good deal. It’s my first time making it and all...

Veronica: I wasn’t expecting you to be eating at home. I figured you’d want to spend some time with that pretty young lady you were with earlier.
Terrance: *choke cough* Wait you saw that?!

Veronica: Of course I did. You had your eyes on her during the whole procession.
Yvie: Yay, Mac n’ Cheese!
Ami: Yvie, don’t get too excited... You burnt it so it probably won’t taste much like it.

Terrance: You know, Yvie... If you got out and stopped painting all the time you might find yourself a nice boy, too.

I had to include this just because Justin’s face is so cute! He looks like he’s trying to blow out a match in his dream~!

Next time we get to see lots and lots of birthdays, some more creepers an glitches, and the younger siblings get to shine more as they age up. We may even get to see more BAMFing firefighting from Veronica and Justin. Oh, and I love comments so let me know what you guys think!

The Enormity of it All Settles...

I'm working on the next The Madisons! update, right? Well, I roll out my second set of screens to see if I want to lengthen the update or not and the amount of them left reassures me that I'm not being too bad at carrying out this story until I go to my screenshots folder in The Sims and notice there's like 1000 or so images missing... WHAT?! Oh dear god... I was wondering why there weren't that many birthdays... They were all forgotten and left behind. This generations is going to hit the double digits... There are some 2100 images now to sort through and condense. Dear God help me. Well there is a lot of kids... Like a LOT. (I'm going to miss these guys as I catch up story-wise, I can see that now.) *dies for multiple reasons*

I hope you guys don't mind having like 15 chapters.... I mean I could condense, but the teen years are just... THE BEST. And I want to include every kid in the poll even the upcoming ones. (Yes there are more children coming...) And I need to stop ranting because I'm starting to spoil... Please say you won't mind the lengthy generation...*begs*

Adding numerous Crescendos (kittenmittons ) and Storms(visionofvim ) to the list.... I can't decide which ones to put in so I think I'm going to end up defaulting to putting in the majority of a generation.... >___< I'd like to add siouxpergirl 's McGuires too, but sadly can find no DLs... Oh, the horrible things that may happen to them...!

I am slowly catching up to my save point in The Madisons! which is stupendously awesome, BUT I wanna play and I honestly don't want to play with them until I get a heir poll up and going... I've been playing around and making Sims in the mean time, as you can see my Sim Kids for Diversity submissions. Well, I created a Sim that I absolutely adore and have been inspired to try a new legacy with her... Her name is Audrey Fullens, and she is just adorable! Her character I created for her makes me want to start her as a founder. Well, you can meet her!

Ain't she just a PYT~? Audrey is a girl who loves her some fun time filled with partying it up to amazing music. Having some cute boys around is always a plus, but don't expect her to get too attached... She loves boys, but it's rare for one to capture her interest for very long. Consequences don't really justify much (thus the klepto-tendencies) so she's bound for trouble, but oh well! It's nothing a drink and a quick WooHoo won't fix, right? Guess what her LTW is? Heart Breaker, lol! This is going to be one dysfunctional family...

I'm gonna plop her down into a new custom world named Legacy Island (I just found it), but I want to have a diverse Sim pool for her to choose from... So, I need some suggestions on who to plop in town with her. Legacy Island has some townies already but I want to make sure there's some unique and flattering Sims (Audrey is fairly superficial and all about fun after all...), SO I need some help...

Now I do need mostly guys but I'm not beside hooking Audrey up with girls so they are still welcome suggestions. Not all will be used, but variety is always nice to have to choose from. Here are some of the Sims I've already considered to plop in with her (probably at various times)...

Warning: Some language, birthdays galore, tons of toddler spam, family favoritism, and unmentionable disaster!

Ok, I’m back with more for The Madisons! (evidently) and I must say, I’m starting to worry I’m dragging this out far too much… This generation is going to be monsterous! This chapter seems drawn out for even me, but I can’t help myself with so many toddlers in the house. They deserved a chapter all to themselves. Plus Yvie gets a lot of spotlight. Let me know if I need to start condensing more though.

Last we left off on The Madisons! Veronica went into labor for the 4th time, late at night no less. Justin scrambled to find his keys and here we are at the hospital with Veronica waddling through the door.

Ami: I’m glad you’ve calmed down Justin.
Justin: I can’t look…

Ami: What’s that face for… You just gave birth to a cute lil’ girl!
Veronica: That’s just it. It’s another girl...This house is going to be full of moody estrogen…

They both wanted a boy this time… I was kinda hoping for one myself, but babies are babies! 8D

Justin heads off to work to earn the bacon… He’s got lots of mouths to feed.

Ami: Ain’t it great how you get paid to play games?

BRIIIIING!!!

Justin: Oh shoot… I was just gonna beat my top score!

He gets called to the mausoleum…

Justin: What is up with this…? Are there actually people in here?

Back at home…

The toddlers enjoy playing together in Terrance’s room with anything and everything…

Ami: It’s a good thing Terrance doesn’t have anything in there that can be broken…

And playing together in the common area… Justin approves of his daughters’ awesome excellence and awaits to show them how to handle the wrench someday.

And since Alana is busy leveling, Veronica sets in on training Helena to potty in the little chair. Helena is left wondering where her daddy is…

Veronica manages to squeeze in some work maintenance. Why is there a fire truck on the lawn, you ask. Well, Justin got promoted again to DUN-DUN-DUUUN! Fire Chief!! He has reached the top of his career and with that, he gets to turn his house into its very own fire station! They now have a Fire Engine and Alarm added to the house. Veronica jumped at the opportunity, even if she still is on maternity leave.

Duty calls!

Ami: Why does that frame look oddly thin you ask? Has Justin dramatically lost weight?

Ami: Nope, he’s at home taking care of his favorite twin! Veronica hijacked the truck…
Veronica: I did not! Justin was perfectly fine with me taking the call…

Apparently Sims on maternity leave can still work if they’re a Firefighter. Who knew?!

And shocker there – the toilet broke AGAIN while she was gone.

With their mid-day nap, the twins are up and at ‘em again, playing with the new toy that was meant for Terrance…

Ami: Eh, it kept their attention and Terrance really doesn’t mind, so whatevs. They seem to like blue blocks…

But this day isn’t over for the Madisons. Look whose birthday it is! I nearly forgot about them with everything that happened this day…

Veronica: My boy is growing up to become a fine young man, I can see it already!!
Terrance: Oh boy! Really mom?! Because that’d be totally awesome!

ANNND HERE WE ARE! Teenage Terrance! He rolled Workaholic this time… Oh and he's decided that he wants to be a World Renown Doctor. Fitting.

Ami: Somehow I figured this would happen… The kid was practically brain fed that trait…!
Terrance: This means I’ll get more responsibilities, right? Sweet!
Ami: Veronica, Justin, what have you done to him?!
Veronica/Justin: *looks at me like I have a second head*

Oh my! Yvie certainly is excited… What, you say it’s her birthday too?!

Little Yvie grows up to roll the Hates the Outdoors trait… Hmm, interesting… She also grows up looking a bit on the mopey side. Maybe she didn’t get enough attention with so many kids in the house… She’s just learning her independence a bit differently than Terrance I guess.

And theeeen… ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE!

Veronica: O… M… G… It never stops… so much crying… I need some sleep or I’m going to collapse. Honey, where are you going?
Justin: I need some shut eye… I’ll be back out later.
Veronica: *sighs* Great…
Terrance: Coochee-cochee-coo! Hey, mom I got this, you go get some rest.

Veronica: No…! I can’t believe you’re saying this after you full well know that I have big dreams for my career…! I pushed all that aside because my family is important, but that doesn’t mean I’m willing to side-step my dreams.
Ami:
Justin: Sunshine, I’m just worried about your health… You put too much on your plate. With the kid’s needing someone at home and us with such a taxing work schedules, I know you’ll spread yourself thin… I don’t want you to suffocate yourself!
Veronica: Look, maybe you don’t… Wait… what?

She confuses me sometimes… First she fights over having to stay home, and then I find her dreaming of children. Justin’s is pretty easy to understand I think.

Ami: Pfft! The old man’s still got it in him!

And with that, the family is put to sleep…

Not for long though… True to his word Terrance takes up the job of caring for his younger siblings in the stead of his parents for the night.

Ami: Harder than you thought?
Terrance: Yeah, but man is this a blast! Helena, which block goes here?
Alana: Nnngaaah!!
Ami: Alana… You were just fed… Whats wrong, sweetie?
Terrance: You mustn’t encourage her tantrums, Ami.
Ami: But she probably just wants some attention…
Terrance: Mom always said that wasn’t an excuse.

A few sim!hours pass and the rest of the house is awake so Veronica takes over the parental role. I don’t think Terrance intends to stop playing babysitter though…

Terrance: I have GOT to find me some romance! No WAY I’m missing out on this fun in my life~!

Veronica: *shellshock from extreme hunger*
Ami: Hard core…

She snaps out of her brokenness when I order her to get Helena to the potty chair before she poops herself and immediately begins her “Woe is Me” act. I think she may deserve it this time. Maybe...

Veronica: Whatever am I to do… *sigh*

Now that Yvie is old enough to walk up and strike conversations with her family she manages a bit more attention. The topics however are questionable…

Yvie: Hey, so did you hear mom and dad at it last night? I don’t know about you but I think the twins are the source of the fight. Dad pays WAY too much attention to Helena in my opinion.
Terrance: What? I don’t know about that. Are you sure they were fighting because I’m pretty sure that’s not what I heard.
Ami: *choke* Terrance, what?!
Yvie: Well, what else would they be doing…?
Terrance: Well, it soun…
Ami: Terrance, NO! Don’t you dare! She's too young!

I quickly end that conversation and send Yvie to her room… That is not something they should be talking about… Yvie took the time to finish her first painting. Not too bad for a lil’ kid, right?

Terrance continues helping out with the twins, and Justin takes the chance to have a 1-on-1 with him.

Justin: Terrance, I want you to know that I’m proud of you. With you helping with the kids, your mother will finally be able to get back to fighting fires. Between the two of us, it really is hard on her not being able to do the job she loves so much but she’d never imagine leaving any of you home alone at such a young age.
Terrance: Wow… I didn’t realize that dad was so worried… It’s no problem, I’m happy to help!

Yvie, oblivious to her parents’ dilemma, steps in for a request.

Yvie: So, dad, I know you and mom are doing your best but I was thinking since yesterday was my birthday and everyone was so busy with the babies that it didn’t get celebrated that maybe I could get a present instead? Cause I really, really want a guitar.
Justin: Sure, sweetie.
Ami: That’s a bit manipulative Yvie, understandable, but manipulative…

Terrance: Now that Dad mentioned it, Mom is always busy doing something or another… I wonder how she does it…
Ami: Well, she is quite the extraordinaire.

Since the weekend was upon the Madisons, Justin took the time to teach his favorite lil’ girl about the wonder of words and proved further the extent of his love by ignoring any incoming calls.

Justin: Do you remember what a CAR is sweetie?
Helena: Uh-huh ah car.

Helena: Dey go vroom-vroooom!
Yvie: *glares at Helena* She always gets his attention… It’s not fair. *grumble grumble*

Yvie doesn’t seem very fond of Helena… She’s always eyeballing her like she’s going sprout horns or something…

Veronica continues working from home on her day off of maternity leave.

Justin, on the other hand, takes some time to head outside for some leisurely star-searching.

Justin: Oh, look, it’s a satellite!

Justin: ZOMG…! I didn’t just see that…!
Ami: What?!
Justin: I think… a star just sucked the satellite into its fiery ball of fire…!
Ami: Woah! Really?! I wanna see that!

Veronica decided to test out the improved TV by getting down with Fitness the next morning.

Which, apparently, Yvie found disgusting, lol.

Yvie: Ugh, mom… ! You’re, like, all smelly and gross…

Terrance: Hey, but mom totally lots great in that pink tank right? Even after all those squats. I mean, pink looks good in every occasion.
Ami: Yes, our friendly, excitable workaholic loves the color pink like there’s no tomorrow. No, he’s not gay. Or at least I don’t think he is... *shrugs*

Oh, and look! Justin takes interest in the twin he spends no time with finally. Yay for Alana!

Yvie: You’re totally onto something there, Terrance! Hot pink is, hands down, my favorite color too. You’re my #1 favorite person now!
Terrance: Woah, seriously?!

He’s excited that his sisters so excited over the fact that they get both get excited over the color pink… It’s a lot of excitement, I know.

Helena is upset she’s not getting any attention from daddy… Terrance seems to be taking it hard.

Helena: Sissy steals mai daddy…! *pout* Gimme daddy back… *tears up*

Yvie is back to her easel. This is where she spends the majority of her time, well, when she’s not busy trying to chat up the male figures in the family. She gets distracted by a cute little voice calling her name though.

Helena: Sissy Yvie!
Yvie: Ugh, it stinks over here… What is it, Helena?

Helena: Change poopy chair!
Yvie: Eww! No way! *gag* AbSOlutely NOT!
Ami: I can see why she wouldn’t like Helena now…

Yvie decided to stick close to the older family members and away from the little ones for now. She’s with Terrance because her dad isn’t home right now.

He’s being celebrated, at City Hall, for his achievements to Twinbrook!

Justin: Is that girl ok over there?
Ami: You mean the one crying…? No idea, but she’s scaring me a bit… So… can we get out of here.

We are back to 3 toddlers in the house.

It’s Norah! (see, the chubby flat nose makes its third appearance) She looks SO much like Justin, even more so than Helena. In fact, I think she’s his clone… The nose, the eyes, the eyebrows, the mouth, the skin, the face shape, all of it is his. About the only thing she got from Veronica was her zodiac sign. By the way she gets the cute panda outfit because she’s the crazy baby in the family!

Toddler Skilling Spam Begin!

We interrupt this broadcasted spam with breaking news…

Twinbrook has been hit by a cat 6 Earthquake! Areas all over town have been compromised and officials are headed out to handle this disaster. So far we have had no deaths but many are still stuck under rubble and trapped in fire stricken buildings. Stay tuned for updates.

They were in such a hurry out the door that Justin forgot to change into his uniform. Veronica got promoted to Fire Chief at some point btw. Note the awesome uniform! Yay, no more worry about death by fire for my founders~!

After Justin and Veronica handled the previous incident, another popped up right after so Veronica headed there. Terrance started working part time at the Book Store and Justin went home so Terrance wouldn’t be late. It’s his hobby through his teen years. (they don’t need the money)

She handled it like a boss!

Veronica didn’t even get in the door… Here we go again.

Justin waited for Terrance, but for some reason he hadn’t gotten home even though he was already off his shift.

Justin: It’s not like Terrance to shirk responsibility… I hope nothing happened.

I caved and sent Justin after Veronica soon after. Scary Girl was still there, so they didn’t need a babysitter and on the way to the fire I found out what happened to Terrance. Some guy died just outside the bookstore and apparently Grim forgot all about him… Terrance got stuck there waiting.

Handling it like Bosses!

So you’d think that if you left a teen full of toddlers in need they’d at least attempt to help. Especially if they were at their idol’s house waiting for they to get back from fighting fires like a BAMF.

NOPE! My evidence… Scary Girl will make a HORRID mother! Poor bebez… Their plumbobs were critically red…

Terrance does his best to help… Somehow he manages to subdue the poor, neglected kiddies. Scary girl creeps…

Terrance: OMG… I totally just did that. Please don’t cry anymore…
Yvie: *walks into bathroom* OMFGWTFAHHHHHHHH!!! The HORROR!

Veronica and Justin got home and lets just say mom wasn’t happy no homework had been done yet.

Yvie: How am I supposed to be able to concentrate though all this…? This girl is creeping me out and my youngest sister is wailing her lungs out …
Scary Girl: What are you doing homework for? You aren’t gonna need a job for money with rich parents.
Yvie: Great… she’s delusional too…Please get her away…

Whie Veronica subdues the young ones, Scary Girl get her first glimpse at her “Idol.”

Scary Girl: OMG, it’s him! In the flesh…! I’m so nervous, what should I do…?

Scary Girl: *creepy stare*
Veronica: Honey, who is this girl…?
Justin: No idea… Maybe one of Terrance’s friends?
Veronica: Poor girl, it looks like she got hit by a bus… but why is she staring at you…?
Justin: Dunno, but this salad is delish!

Justin puts the last baby to bed as Veronica politely sees Scary Girl to the door.

And the kids are left to do their homework whether they want to or not.

Yvie: I hate nature… And why would I even need to know the name of clouds?!

Veronica: Whew… What a day…
Ami: Amen to that!

Soon after I got to see happy toddlers~! You know what this means, don’t you?

Because we know, I give you some last images of the twins as babies~!

They even aged up identical…! Lulz!

And we end this chapter here… with the pic of Yvie getting stuck by the poor lost soul Grim is still neglecting days later.

And, yes, no profile pictures of the twins yet~! You’ll have to wait for the next update because I like cliffhangers. =}~ On a related issue, you have NO idea how difficult is was to remember which twin was which. I kept having to check their favs to make sure they were the right one, lol. (I dressed them in their favorite colors to tell the difference.)

To help bring any of you some solace I’ll give you some spoilage. Terrance starts looking for a girl, we find the family isn’t ready to stop growing in size, Yvie continues having issues and somehow no one in the household manages to get neglected. Does that make it better? No? Oh well! *evil grin*

Sim Kids for Diversity!

Alrighty! Here's my Sim Kids for Diversity~! I started working on these a few weeks ago before I had to go out of town suddenly. I realize since there's been a newer edition to this challenge, but I want to submit these pretties even still.

To start things off, I do have to say I did all original editing in TODDLER stages, grew them to CHILD, checked for any off-kilter features (there weren't but 1 or 2 total) and then grew them to ADULT to check for more off-kilter features. I wanted to see how difficult it'd be that way. Trust me it's a bit much, lol. Toddler faces are so similar it's hellish trying to figure out what their features will turn out to. This was essentially a blind experiment of randomness that I'm very proud of.

I made MALE and FEMALE versions of each because I was curious how'd they'd look. For now I'm only putting up the male

I'd also like to say I have AMB, WA, LN and GEN in addition to the BASE game and they may be packaged with items and traits relying on them. They are CC free, minus the few sliders I used. (Err, well, that would be a lie kinda... Brice does have a non-default skin. Anyways, I'll list what they each use!) Honestly, the ears won't make much difference at all (but if you still want it I use CMARs Ear Slider). The only one that'll be noticeable is the one with a dimpled chin.

Oh! I do currently have a Default Skin Replacement (Papercat) so they may not look just as such if you don't use it yourself. I love the freckle noses! The pictures feature CC as well, but each are packed with non-CC replacements.

With that said, I'll move to the Sims!

First up is Brice Maynard! This Sim is quite the adorable one, even if he/she is a snob and moody at times. Watch out, you upset this one and they'll nearly bite your head off, but if you get him/her to smile you'll see the most childlike giddiness you'll likely ever see. I do want to add Brice is an adorable parent~!

Responsibility isn't quite in his/her nature and that indubitably will lead them into quite the situation one day, but for now it's not an issue so no worries, right? Oh, Benji can be a bit feisty and mischievous so beware! Fun-filled is the lifestyle!

Back Home Safely

Well, after a little over a week and a half I'm back home. My grandmother passed away, but I was there to send her off and she went in peace so I'm thankful and I got to spend quality time with my family up north, whom I haven't seen in at least 6 years. I have more things to sort through, but I have my computer now so I can slowly work on the next part of The Madisons! I have to catch up on everyone else's legacy though, lol.

UPDATE: Ok, I forgot I had some Kids for Diversity to submit to pixel_trade before I had to abruptly leave, so I'm gong to try to get that out next. Then I'll start on The Madisons! 1.5. I'm quite fond of this bunch of kids btw. They turned out fabulously! Wait and see!

Ok, so I reached my limit at Photobucket like I figured I would. I temporarily redirecting images elsewhere until the the end of the month. I'm also going out of town on a family emergency so I won't be updating the story either since I have no laptop to work on stuff... Haha, it looks a lot like Terrance is watching his parents play chess through a wall. In fact this is what is going on...

He’s excited because he got his own room!

Terrance: OMG, OMG, OMG! I have a room now!

Veronica: Yes, son?
Terrance: Well, mom I just wanted to thank you. It means a lot that I get to have my own room, even if it probably is only temporary. I’m assuming I’ll have to share it when Yvie gets older, right?
Veronica: Hmm, well that depends. You might have to if we can’t expand again in time for your sister...
Terrance: Its ok, mom, I totally understand.

He’s rather intuitive, I must say... Scorpio-ness coming out, maybe?

Justin: I know you haven’t started school yet, son, but I want to impress the importance academics are. If you want to succeed in life you’re going to need the brains to do what you want in life. Why don’t we sit down and I’ll teach you a few things. If anything, your mom’s showed me if you want something done, you have to dive in and get to it.
Ami: Wow. You know he’s still just a kid… You might be pushing him to grow up a bit soon...

Justin: Math is all about memorization and keen observation...
Ami: Well, we’ll see how this goes I guess...

While Justin was busy readying Terrance for classes, Veronica tried le potty chair again with Yvie - she obediently sat and used it under V’s careful eye this time. Veronica was relieved, safe to say.

Yvie: *giggle giggle*
Terrance: Hahaha! Yvie, what are you doing in there? Playing hide and seek?
Yvie: *peeks head out* Guu?

Terrance: I’m gonna build a castle. Wanna come help Yvie?
Yvie: Nuu-uh... Roro!
Ami: Hahaha, Yvie went inside the toy box to play space exploration! She’s not big enough to turn lights off so she goes to the only dark place she can find. Ain’t that just adorable?
Yvie: Hehehe! 8D
Terrance: In that case, I’ll build a Martian base so we can play space age together!

Ami: Playing games Justin?
Justin: Hmm? Nope. Solving the Unsolvable.
Ami: Oh, exercising your mathematically genius! Hows it going?
Justin: Not well...
Ami: 0.0 You’re stumped?! Wow...

While Justin played with numbers in his head, Veronica got right to teaching Yvie to talk.

Yvie: Truu wove...?
Veronica: Yes, true love, sweetie. It’s when 2 people’s hearts connect to become 1, like mommy and daddy.

Justin eventually gave up on the problem to spend some quality time with his son. So they explore the wonders of chess.

Justin: You sure you want to move there, son?
Terrance: Huh? Ahh... Maybe... not?

Then after chess, Terrance tests the new telescope. He really wanted one, so I gave in and got it for him.

And Justin upgraded one of the few things in the house still needing it. The sink hadn’t needed one because it doesn’t get used much, but he still ~~needed to level his handiness skill~~ wanted to upgrade it.

Veronica really does enjoy her family and is fond of the new editions no matter what she may say otherwise... Btw, Yvie’s headed for the dolls.

Veronica: *sigh* You’re getting nice and big... Mommy can’t wait to see you.

Terrance spent the whole night out at the telescope...

Terrance: Oh, man... It’s like 3 AM now… I hope I won’t get in trouble for being up this late.

And then 4AM it happens!

Veronica: Ohh….! Honey! The baby’s coming!
Justin: *jumps out of bed* What? Now?! Oh man... Sunshine, wait here, I’ll go get the car!

Ami: Wow, V, you really have gotten big... Is it just me or are you bigger than you were before...?
Veronica: Can you do this some other time...? I’m kind of busy delivering a baby...

Ami: Umm, guys... You left Yvie out... Eh, well she seems fine.
Yvie: Hehehe, blocks fun!

Terrance: Oh NOOO!! Mom and dad left Yvie out...! What am I supposed to do? I can’t sleep because she’s crying and I can’t put her to bed...! What do I do...?!
Ami: Erm... I have no idea Terrance… But… Maybe you should calm down some...? They’ll be back.

It’s a bit late but here’s the updated house layout for now. Terrance did end up having to share his bedroom with Yvie since they had a bit of an extra edition they weren’t counting for. Twin girls popped out this time...

Veronica: Justin, I can’t believe this! We have twins!
Justin: *smirks* We’re just that l33t, Sunshine.
Ami: *facepalm* You guys can be a lil’ too cheesy sometimes...
Veronica: You can’t touch my high, Ami, so stop trying. *excited*

Meet Helena and Alana(being held)! They popped out with even levels of needs and remained that way all through infancy, lol. Talk about twins. And wait till they’re toddlers, they have an uncanny resemblance to each other as well.

And between them and making time to spend with her older children, there wasn’t much dilly-dallying. She always had a full fun bar now though. Mommy loves being a busy bee!

Terrance: Hahaha! Mom that face is awesome!

Since the family is growing, I bought the family some needed things in anticipation. In addition to this they also got a TV and sofa as well. I find it funny that the dining room additions were the first hotspot instead...

Veronica: Whew... Need a bit of a rest.
Terrance: OMG, new stuff! Wow, look at these chairs! Which should I choose?! So many choices! AWESOME!
Ami: Can you imagine how excited he’d be for the TV and his first day of school tomorrow? LOLZ.

Veronica didn’t have much time to rest it seems... Yvie got fussy...

Ami: V, you’re not breaking on me are you...?
Yvie: Waaaahh!! *cries* Awaaah!!
Veronica: No, I’m just not going to encourage her until she calms down.
Ami: So you stare into oblivion while holding her until she stops...?
Veronica: Yep.
Ami: But she’s just hungry... Aren’t you being a bit harsh on a baby?
Yvie: *sniff sniff* Mommy... I hungry...

It’s safe to say this is one of Terrance’s favorite pastimes, making funny faces with his parents. Yvie isn’t amused. She's waiting patiently for her daddy, who was supposed to let her out of the high chair.

Mommy to the rescue! Oh wait, this is interesting...

Veronica: Ami, how come all I do is take care of the kids...?
Ami: Well, you being the family-oriented one in the relationship and the mother it kind of falls to you mostly. Justin is busy skilling when he can and then working otherwise. You’re both being productive; you just get the cute babies. Wait, you’re having fun doing it so... What’s wrong?
Justin: Hmm… What is there to upgrade still...? The sink and stove are already upgraded...

Yvie: Dolly! Geheehe!
Justin: The washer is upgraded too... Should I work on the upgrading the TV...?
Ami: The whole house is full of seriousness. That is not my fault either... You two seem to want it that way.
Veronica: That is NOT what I’m upset over! Hmph! I haven’t moved anywhere at work in almost 2 sim!Weeks and I demand some time to fix that!
Ami: *facepalm* Work again?! You’re not a workaholic nor are you an ambitious sim, you know...!

Ami: Well, the family comes first! Yvie still needs to learn to walk so no go until then!

Haha, Justin autonomously started working out via radio. I guess as long as he's not getting pwned on the treadmill he has no issue with working out. Terrance is still glued to that book, too.

Yvie: Look mommy! I can walks!
Veronica: Yes you are! You’re doing so well, mommy’s proud of you! 8D

Yvie’s pretty much mastered the art of walking by now so bedtime was upon them. Yvie was tucked into her crib and Terrance was told to get to sleep o he’d be well rested for his first day at school. And while the kid’s sleep, the parents will play, right?

Ami: Yep! And boy do they play hardcore.

Come the end of the weekend and its back to business. Err, well for Justin it is. He leveled his handiness enough to get another promotion at work; he’s an Assistant Firechief now! The shades came with the uniform. Hot, right? Oh, and just to give you an idea of how high his handiness is now, he gained ALL his promotions off work performance and handiness leveling... Veronica got hers via Athletics, Handiness and work performance in almost equal amounts. Justin hasn’t even leveled his Athletics, lmao! Oh, you get an Immune to Fire bonus with it, too! Yay, Justin won’t die by fire no mores!

Oh, check out today’s emergency at work! Llamas were running amuck in the hospital it seems…

Ami: Why the hell are there llamas in the hospital?! O.o

Justin rounded up all the llamas and no one got hurt. The staffs don’t seem too thrilled to have to go back to work...

And then this... And no, that’s not from bad food either.

Veronica: I’m way too... *blerg* tired to deal with you right now… ugh…

Ami: But not too tired to finish potty training the little one I see.
Veronica: Well, of course, she’s my little sweetie! Aren’t you dear?

Terrance: Hey dad... Why do we have pancakes so much...?
Justin: Well, we always have leftovers. Your mom says breakfast is the most important meal to eat so she makes sure there’s plenty of it in the fridge.

The next afternoon while Justin was at work, Terrance at school and the little ones sleeping, Veronica popped with preggers #4. She really, really loves her maternity corsets, lol.

Ami: White and pink this time? What happened to the black and maroon one?
Veronica: Thought I’d go for a change.
Ami: *cough* That’s a change...?

Oh, and here’s a better look of Justin’s new uniform. It’s pretty dang awesome if I must say so.

Terrance: What? Really?! OMG that’s really cool! Is it a boy? A girl?!
Ami: Oh, I love excitable sims! Unfortunately, I don’t think he realizes he may have to share his room some more…...
Veronica: Well, we won’t know until the baby is born.

See Justin back there? He’s working on overclocking the computer. I prayed he didn’t break it in the process, lol.

Veronica: But I need you to be a good example for your siblings, son. You have done your homework, haven’t you?
Terrance: Well... Not yet... But it shouldn’t take long and I wanted to watch...
Veronica: Terr... You know you have to do your homework first...

So Justin takes over the TV to exercise…

Oh heyz! Look whose birthdays it is!! I only got one of them sparkling... But here they are

Meet the eldest of the twins, Helena. Justin adores her and I think she’s his fav of the two.

And then sweet quiet Alana. She doesn’t get as much attention from her dad as her twin, but her mom showers her with love whenever she gets a chance to make up for it. Those traits were totally rolled... It’s creepy how similar they came out, I mean look at their likes! None of that was picked I swear. I nearly hit the floor in amazement over it.

And to give a better comparison, here. They’re almost identical... They both have Justin’s nose and hair and I think that’s Veronica’s mouth. Helena has a slightly more rounded face like her dad, his skin tone and Veronica’s eye color while Alana is just the opposite in those regards. I was going to give them the same hair, but it’s hard enough the figure who’s who so I gave them similar hair instead. I think I probably should have switched their hairstyles but whatever. This also begins the curse of the chubby flat nose... It’s cute when they get older but right now it’s a bit creepy for me... their nostrils kinda bulge out a bit much on a 3/4 view…

Veronica: Honey, I was thinking... When the baby comes we’re going to need to add on to the house some to make room.
Justin: Wait, so you really are pregnant?!
Ami: *facepalm* Justin!! Aren’t you supposed to be perceptive?!
Justin: What, it was never confirmed...!
Ami: But look at her, she’s huge! Like whale huge! You didn’t find that obvious?
Veronica: *glare* I will maim you, Ami...
Ami: Oh, whoops... My bad. Not a whale... A... Um... Yeah I have no idea what else to say.

Terrance seems worried about the sudden disappearance of Alana from his room… I’m not sure how, but he sensed she wasn’t there and woke up abruptly…

Veronica: Oh... You couldn’t wait until morning...? Ohh... This never gets any easier does it...?!
Ami: Nope sorry, V. Baby comes when baby’s ready.
Justin: This again?! Ohh man... Keys...? Where’d I leave my keys?!

And I’m ending it there because it’s already crazy long… I want to apologize if the story doesn’t flow as well as the previous ones… I worked on this one in arts because it was so long. Next time we’ll get to experience toddler and sparkle galore; the kids start growing up and Veronica finally gets back to work somehow. Will she have enough time to reach her LTW I wonder… One thing is certain, there’s no shortage of heirs. Hope you enjoyed it!

The Madisons! 1.4

Poppity Pop Pop!

Welcome back to The Madisons! Last time, Veronica and Justin started their cute little family and had Terrance, a first born son, and as Justin started picking up the slack in his career to be a provider for the family Veronica tried her best to not fall behind in hers. Terrance was well loved by both his parents and grows through his toddler sim!days fabulously. Veronica pops with another baby though. We’ll see how the family is affected.

We start this update following Justin to work through a normal day in his new life.
(Mostly because I don’t follow their everyday lives much this update.)

Veronica was sweet enough to cook breakfast before he had work and they all ate together as a family.

Ami: Pancakes again?
Veronica: Yep!
Ami: You're not tired of those yet…?
Veronica: Nope.
Justin: *ignores Ami* Thanks for making breakfast, Sunshine. :)

I don’t think he’s gotten used to me yet… But he’s adorably sweet so I’ll forgive him.

After breakfast Justin heads out the door to get picked up. On his way out he empties the potty chair.
Ami: See? Adorably sweet.

At work he spends a lot of his time reading or on the computer... I would consider these his hobbies - he’s quite the intellectual man. He also got promoted to Fire Captain early that morning btw, thus the new uniform.

He does make time for the required maintenance needed for a functioning station though, and regularly gets interrupted by the fire alarm while doing it.

I'm not sure exactly how this small house fire started but I'm going to guess it was the fireplace's fault...?

Justin: Oh hey, I haven't seen this episode yet!
Ami: Hahaha, well you can watch it as long as you are still putting that fire out.
Justin: Heh, sweet!
Ami: Yay! He's warming up to me~!

Come to find out this house is actually where Justin used to live. Remember Wei Keane from 1.1? That's him, Justin's ex-roommate apparently. Because they haven't seen each other in a bit, I leave Justin to catch up. They're almost like brothers how similar their traits are.

Justin: Wei, did you set that fire on purpose just to get a chance to see me? I know you're smarter than to leave a fireplace unattended to catch fire.
Wei: Hyuk-hyuk-hyuk! Well, how else am I gonna get your attention? You're rarely ever even on sim!chat anymore.
Justin: Hahaha, well I've got a family and all now, so there isn't as much free time.
Ami: Justin, just thought I'd let you know... He thought your wife was bat-shit crazy.
Justin: Hmmm?

He tries his best to spend some quality time with his family when he gets home. Ok, so maybe this isn't really quality time...

His day is fairly similar to Veronica, except he's more laid back. I blame the difference in their astrological associations. Veronica is an Aries, who tend to be driven go getters, while Justin is a more easy going Sagittarius, who are also well known for love of intellectual conquest. Honestly, I think their signs play a role in their personalities in this game, which may be why they aren't linked to time of birth... (and why twins don't have the same sign)

Terrance may be a doll normally but in the middle of the night when he needs something he can be a terror....
Terrance: WAAAH! MOMMY! DADDY! *rattle rattle*
Veronica: ZzZz... Ahh... ZzZz... Terrance is probably hungry... *groggy* I'll get him... You go back to sleep.
Terrance: WAAAHHHH! *stomp stomp*
Justin: Mmm, k... Uhh... Work in 3 sim!hours... ZzZzZzZz

Veronica: Aww, you hungry Terr? Don’t worry, mommy’s here. No more crying, k? You gotta be a big boy and be patient.

Veronica rarely complains when it comes to taking care of Terrance, no matter what the hour or the attitude Terrance gives. She can be strict on how Terrance expresses himself but in the end she can’t help but shower him with tickles.

Justin: Oh dammit...! Not again? Ami...! Will you do something about this shower? It breaks at least once a week…!
Ami: Sorry...? At least you don’t have to fix it...? Veronica usually deals with that.
Justin: That’s not the point. It needs to be upgraded…
Ami: Hmm… But it’s already self-cleaning.
Justin: Oh.
Ami: Hahaha, would you rather clean it?
Justin: Not really...
Ami: Well, ok then.
Justin: Oh well.

Haha, he got over that quick after understanding why it wasn’t unbreakable and turned straight to his unborn child.

Justin: Hi there, my lil’ girl, your daddy can’t wait to see you, tottering about in cute little baby shoes~!
Veronica: Hahaha, Justin, that’s a ways off still and we don’t even know if it’s a girl.
Justin: I’ll bet on it. You’re a cute lil’ girl, aren’t ya? Isn’t she, Ami?
Ami: I have no idea, Justin. I’m definitely rooting for one though!

Well, after that show of adult gooeyness, Justin headed to work and Veronica went and fixed the shower so it didn’t puddle up the bathroom and make the house stink.

Veronica: Justin does have a point, Ami. This thing does break a lot.
Ami: Well, just think of it as way to move yourself up in your career. Handiness is a well-sought-after skill for firefighters.
Veronica: You do have a point there… This still stinks though.
Ami: Yeah, sorry, can’t help you there.

Veronica then gets back into her drab everyday life on maternity leave… Enjoying delicious meals and doing household chores.

Terrance: Mommy, dishwasher goes rumble, rumble, rumble! How come?
Veronica: Oh, Sim!Lord, I was trying to ignore that… Well, sweetie, the dishwasher spins all the clothes in water to get them clean so it causes it to shake.
Terrance: Like this, like this? *wiggle wiggle wiggle*
Veronica: Mmmhmm, just like that.
Ami: *dies of cuteness*

The dishwasher finished its load and Veronica decided it was time for a mid-day nap. Waking up at 3 AM makes a girl tired in the afternoon.

This is Justin at work today. Doesn’t he look just cheery? Haha, nope, this is just his fix-er-up face. He’s concentrating like a boss!

Veronica passes time by playing with Terrance.

Veronica: Too late… Oh, here it comes...!

Ami: Pretty sure real birth isn’t that shiny... And V, I think your fly is down...

Even though he got the girl he wanted, Terrance is still his favorite. He dotes on the boy.

They all manage to go to sleep together tonight… Not sure how this happened, but I’m happy.

Well, they all were until this, lol. They still WooHoo regularly. So, the first 2 pregnancies were Veronica wanting kids... This time? Justin wanted more, lol! He may not be family-oriented but he truly loves his family. And his wife, obviously.

Veronica: Hey, Ami... Don’t you think these diapers are a bit too girly...?
Ami: Hmm, what are you talking about, he loves pink!
Veronica: .......

That is one of the most hilarious captures yet. If she could talk she’d be saying, “ZOMG, FOODZ~!”

And life carries one... Justin works and earns promotions, stuff at home breaks, handiness is earned, fires extinguished...

Justin: Look, Ma’am, it’s very dangerous to play with matches. Please be more careful or you’ll end up burnt.
Ami: What kind of parents did she have that she didn’t learn not to play with matches...?

Justin: It’ll be fine. We’ll manage if it’s not enough. :)
Ami: V, I already have it on my to-do list... You’re kinda worrying over it too much. Maybe the hormones again...?

Since Terrance has maxed out all the skills he can possibly learn, I figured I’d get his aging out of the way early before Justin went off to work. Cake after a breakfast of waffles! (Yeah, I didn’t think that one through…)

Ami: O.O Oh my, he turned out beautifully!

Initially he seems to take after his mom more, but later after close observation I’ll come to find he’s actually a nice combination of his parents. I only know this because I know how he turns out as an adult. (He’s quite the hottie!) Anyways, if you hadn’t notice previously, he has his mom’s eye and hair colorings (his hair is lighter though). That coupled what seems like his mom’s nose too, makes him very V-like. Oh, he picked up the Good Sense of Humor trait just like his mom as well. Hahaha!

Justin isn’t too happy to see Charmaine and Tim it seems.

Justin: You can only handle so much of them…
Ami: I don’t blame you – ones a creep and the other a poser... At least they’re nice!

And looks who decides to take a visit! Veronica brings the kids in.

Veronica: I can’t take it anymore… There not much to do at home…
Ami: So you come here! ^^
Terrance: So, this is where Dad works… Hmm, seems cool.
Ami: Well, your Mom works here too, she’s just been holed up at home because of you guys.

Now, there’s a gajillion! Only 4 of those Sims were actually inside, lol. The rest were just passing by over the 3 hours or so it took to complete this event. I love how Goodwin is calmly enjoying the scenery. It’s interesting because he’s supposed to be one of the sweetest Sims in town. I wonder if he thinks it’s some kind of play or movie set.

While Justin was handling the gas leak, Veronica spent her time pumping some iron.

Ami: Are you sure that safe...? For all 3 of you...?
Veronica: What... Oof! are you talking about? I’m keeping an eye... Oof! on Yvie... She’s not going anywhere... Oof! and I’m perfectly healthy enough for exercise...
Ami: But you’re kinda preggers... Would imagine that’d matter.
Veronica: Don’t think so...

And poor Terrance got spotted by Charmaine…

Charmaine: You know, it’s always so dirty here since you’re mom hasn’t been working… I’m not sure what to do about it. I mean really… Theres trash everywhere I turn now…
Terrance: This lady isn’t very bright, is she…?
Ami: Sadly, no. Watch out too, because she’ll talk your ears off.
Terrance: Great…

First chance he gets he makes his escape.

But he got so caught up in how awesome the poles where that it failed, lol. He’s really a ball of excitement!

He eventually slips away and haves some fun on the trampoline. I can imagine, he must think his parent’s workplace is a playground.

And look who had a birthday! Yvie’s a toddler now!

Ami: ZOMG, cutie~!

Justin gets back to the station and they drive back home. First on the agenda, start potty training… Yvie is not happy about it one bit…

Yvie: NYGAAA!!! *squirm flail* WAAH!
Veronica: Yvie...! Be a good girl and listen to mommy. Yvie...
Yvie: *poops in pants* GYAAA!!
Ami: ....... She was on the toilet though......
Veronica: I couldn’t get her pants off because she was squirming too much... *sigh*

Ami: V, did you forget to put the cake away this morning...
Veronica: Oh, whoops... Hmm, guess I’ll have some of that... I’m famished!

Justin got a new haircut by the way. He definitely looks more mature. I think it suits him!

Guess what? Guess what?! I just got my copy of Generations~! Woot! I got home last night and first thing I did was pop it in to install. I don't want to play my legacy just yet because I need to catch up story-wise, but I've been working on a Sim Kids for Diversity Challenge from pixel_trade so I thought I'd post a cute pic as a spoiler for that, because I can't help myself.

Soo.... I got a warning from Photobucket saying my bandwidth limit is almost reached... The monthly cycle isn't even halfway over, LOLZ! Was not expecting that to happen. We just can't keep our excitement to ourselves!

As promised, 1.3 is filled with romance, lost of woohoo, preggers, an adorable baby and so many moments of glee that it's OMGASM-TASTIC! I didn't cover as much as I was hoping but thats just means more for the next update. ; )

Last time on The Madisons!

After they’re cutely, intimate moment back at the fire station last episode, Veronica makes her move fast. She immediately invites him over to stay the night. Justin is just ecstatic over the idea~!

Ami: Hmm, I wonder why that would be, hmmm?
Veronica:*swoon*

Both tired from their day, they curl up in the bed and continue to bask in their love haze.

One thing leads to another….

Which leads to yet another…

Veronica: What do you say about getting some friction in these sheets going?
Justin: Oh, YEAH!

Ami: Weehehehe~! Sexy times!

And then, they were out like a light.

Ami: I don’t blame them. That looked like quite the ride!

Apparently the shower broke at some point…. and flooded the bathroom. Veronica woke up early to fix it so the rancid smell of the plumbing didn’t stink the house up too much.

Ami: Though, in my personal opinion it was a bit late for that… Ahem! Hey, V, you seem to be enjoying yourself in there…
Veronica: Mmm, not really… Stinks in here… I just wanna get this done so I can get back to bed with Justin. *swoon*

And true to her word, that’s just what she did.

Justin: So, I think we’re supposed to have heavy rain today. Well, thats what the notification on my phone said at least.

Justin: Well, the weather guys are known to be a little off in their predictions so there is a 50/50 chance. I mean, we could just have some overcast.
Veronica: Yeah... Overcast seems possible; there are a lot of clouds out.
Ami: And here I thought weather was a conversation filler…

Justin: By the way, how did you sleep?
Veronica: Like I was in 7th heaven. *swoon*

Justin is so considerate. It’s so cute~! He had to go soon after that though - townie firefighters work on the weekends too it seems.

Veronica: *glare* It means my stomach hates me, *barf* what do you think it means? *gag*Blegh!

Even though Veronica felt comfortable enough in her position at work to make room in her life for romance, it didn’t stop her from being an overachiever and working hard. Even on her days off. She continued fixing any household issues herself. You’d think she was a workaholic, honestly.

She even went to maintain the station

and got her workouts in as well.

Veronica: Tim, I’ve been *huff* wondering. Why do you *huff* come down here so often?
Tim: Hmm?

Tim still gets some creeper time in now and then…

Justin seemed went to take a nap and it was getting late. Her upset stomach weighed on her strength a lot today so she figured she’d get home, get some rest and hope that tomorrow she’d feel better. She contemplated jogging home for some added exercise, but then…

Veronica: Ugh… I feel like I’m going to throw up again…

Ami: *squee* Baby~! XD

Veronica: Oh, my…! So that’s why you were giggling earlier. Why didn’t you tell me?!

She grabbed a cab home instead. Thank goodness.

Veronica: So I have a bit of news to tell you… We’ll have an addition to the family soon because I’m pregnant! I found out yesterday on my way home. :)
Justin: Really?! OMG, I’m gonna be a dad? =D
Veronica: Mmhmm!

Justin: Oh, man, I better get to work then! If I’m gonna support this family, I better get that raise!
Veronica: Oh, baby... You are going to be the most loved child in the sim!world. Just you wait, we’re gonna make a beautiful family.

On her way downstairs, she ran into Tim. He was being a creeper and watching it all from downstairs…

Tim: So, I overheard you and Justin. Congrats!
Veronica: So… are you gonna stop following me around now?
Tim: Hmmm?
Ami: I take that as a no. Lol.

She took the chance to read a book on pregnancy, this being her first one and all. It’s important to be informed.

She didn’t let her pregnancy stop her from keeping in shape. It was common for her to go jogging.

Veronica: The sunshine is supposed to be good for keeping your hormones balanced.
Ami: Really? I thought you were just being an overachiever still and didn’t want to be stalked by Tim…
Veronica: Yeah, well, that too…

She did start to take it easy with work though. Added stress was bad for the baby, so she spent her time doing more leisurely things, like

Ami: V, I don’t think that’s the best attire for a pregnant woman………
Veronica: What? It’s not tightened or anything, so it’s safe for the baby. And what’s wrong with me wanting to feel sexy? Hmm?
Ami: >___> Nothing I guess… Just be careful not to burn yourself cooking in that… I want BABIES~!

And then finally it happened.

Ami: OMG, YAYZ~! Baby time!
Veronica: Holy cow…! This really hurts…! Hi Hi Wooo! Gotta… breathe…
Ami: What a trooper. So proud! :D

She managed to get herself to the hospital and freaked this random guy waiting out front of the hospital out.

Guy: OMGOMGOMG!
Veronica: Dude, chill… I got this under control.
Guy: But… OMGOMGOMGOMG!

Justin came straight from work as soon as he heard.

Ami: He’s gonna make a great father. *proudly gleams*

It’s a boy! Yay, first born sons are always awesome. He was duly named Terrance.

Veronica: I’m so glad you made it to the hospital… I was worried you wouldn’t make it because of work.
Justin: Well I ran the whole way… I wouldn’t forgive myself if I hadn’t made it there in time.
Veronica: Oh, Justin, it would have been fine even if you hadn’t been able to make it.
Justin: But, we should both be there to bring him into the world… We’re all he’s got, right?
Veronica: *smile*

Since there isn’t any room in the bedroom for a crib yet, Terrance gets to sleep in the main room. By the way, pardon the weirdly random bed… I hadn’t learned how to custom color things in Build Mode yet, so all the furniture were made via Random… It was a pain in the ass and took forever to find a suitable one.

Veronica: Time for beddy-bye, little Terrance. Sleep well!

Veronica: OMG, a baby boy! Yes!

And then off to bed. They do this most of the night btw. It’s just adorable how in love they are, really.

Veronica: Good morning, lil’ Terr. ♥ Mommy love you so much!

Hellz Yeah Time!

Terrance gets all the attention he needs from his mommy. She makes sure he gets feed and is never lonely before he even cries. He got moved into the new nursery – you can see it a bit better in the next pic. I fail at taking pics of house upgrades….

She’s gotta get back in shape for work, so she hits the workout CD. She doesn’t have a TV or workout machines so this is the best she can do…

Radio: And a 1, 2, 3, and 4! Work it!

Plus there’s her handiness skills that needs upkeep.

Ami: No getting rusty, V. They’ll need you at your best when you head back to work!

She tried calling him to come over multiple times, but he wasn’t able to leave work so she went to the station instead.

Justin: Hey, sunshine. Oh, you brought Terrance! Is everything ok?
Veronica: Yep, I just thought I’d come by. You’re always so busy with work…
Justin: Yeah, sorry about that but you understand, right?
Veronica: Of course! Anyways, I just figured since both of us are always so busy with work and with Terrance here now, that we should go ahead and get married here. I mean everyone we know is pretty much here already and all.

Thus, the wedding vows were exchanged in a private wedding held right there at the Fire Dept.

Ami: See what I mean when I say they’re adorably in love with each other? Tehe!

This is a normal occurrence by the way. Both of them continue to marvel over their marriage frequently throughout the week, lol.

Justin moves in and the first thing he does is cuddle little Terrance. Awww~!

Justin: Ahh, I can’t believe we’re married. Awesome!
Tim: Don’t you just love the flies? I make sure to leave all my scraps out so we always have some in the station!

I went to go check on V and I find her taking a lil’ nap and cutely smiling.

Veronica: Terrance, Mommy loves you very much, but she has to go to work now. Don’t worry, a nice baby sitter is going to come to take care of you.*kiss*

And then off she runs to work.
By the way, notice the new uniform? She got promoted to a Backdraft Specialist while on maternity leave for all the hard work she's been doing. Ambitions careers are interesting like that.

The baby sitter comes… and first thing she does is freak out that the toilet is clogged.

Ami: Whoops, forgot about that…

And stands there for 30 sim!minutes watching Terrance wail his poor lungs out before actually picking him up. Babysitter FAIL.

Ami: Poor Terrance…

Veronica: Hey, guys I’m back.
Tim: Oh, hey.
Charmaine: You enjoy your days off?
Veronica: Well, it was nice, but I missed working.

Charmaine: I was just talking to Tim about using fire hoses properly. You know you have to turn the hose wheel to the right setting to make sure you hit the flames accurately…
Ami: ….and of course you wouldn’t know exactly what setting that would be, seeing as your still a Water Girl…
Tim: *ignores* Mmm, Charmaine boobies…

Veronica gets back into the swing of her normal workdays, starting with some exercise.

Justin started chipping in with the station maintenance now. Thats the fire engine btw...

It was just a small house fire, so I guess it was ok.

I suspect the residents intentionally set it on fire… They don’t seem too worried and the husband even seems to be enjoying watching his house aflame…

Yep, totally did it on purpose…

Lady: Damn you firefighters! You ruined my evil plot to set the neighborhood on fire!
Guy: Boy was that was fun! Sucks they caught it so fast though… Darn!
Ami: Oh, now he puts his uniform on! *facepalm*

Veronica still forgets about necessities until last minute, lol.

I wanted to show you guys the car Justin brought with him when he moved in. Sweet, ain’t it?
They’ll be going home every day after work since there’s a family to take care of and all.

Justin ate already, it seems, so Veronica ate her dinner of leftover pancakes while Justin read. Usually he’s on the computer, but since they don’t have one he settled for his second favorite thing, reading.

Then I remembered how the babysitter raged over the clogged toilet, so I sent her to fix it.

Ami: Wait, why is Terrance on the floor…? Wait… is this what I think it is…?
Veronica: Uhhh… So tired….
Justin: Sunshine, go ahead and go to bed, I’ll take care of Terr.

Ami: Yes! Cute toddler time begin!

Meet Terrance Madison! He seems to take after his mother in looks.
I also didn’t know toddlers could use the mirror and dresser at the time, so he stays as he aged up.

Justin really is a good dad. While Veronica goes to lie down, he picks Terrance up

and starts potty training him!

Justin: Alright, Terrance, this is the potty. From now on you go poo-poo and pee-pee right here, okay? Daddy will be right here.
Terrance: Guuu…?

And hey, the days not over yet!

Justin: Happy birthday, Sunshine! *toot*
Veronica: Oh, wow! Yay!

Veronica: Oh, it kinda tickles, hehe.

And then right to bed afterwards, lol.

Justin: She’s still as beautiful as ever. *swoon*

Just what you wanted to hear first thing in the morning… Wailing. It doesn’t matter how much attention you give toddlers, they almost always wake up wanting attention.

Terrance: WAAAAA! WAAAA!
Veronica: Terrance, Mommy’s not going to pick you up until you’re a good boy and stop crying. Now be a good boy.

Being the handy, genius that he is, Justin takes it upon himself to start upgrading the house.

But Veronica needed the kitchen space to cook breakfast, so he took a break.

Veronica: Hmmm, I wonder if I should try and add this in…
Justin: Sexy…! Can’t wait to get my hands all over her again…
Ami: Wow, Justin, do you really need a magnifying glass for this…? Maybe I should give you glasses?
Justin: Oh, this is just to get a better look at all those curves. ;)
Veronica: Hmmm?
Ami: Oh, nothing… Don’t worry about it V.

Lookie, look! Terrance just started the Peg Box and he already knows where the triangle block goes! Such a smart baby~!

Though he seems to be rather upset at it now…

Veronica: How do you like the pancakes? I tried something new…
Justin: Mmm, are these apple pancakes?
Veronica: Mmhmm!

Justin promptly got back to upgrading the sink while Veronica taught little Terrance how to walk.

Ami: ? One step, two step, three step, four! Come on, Terrance, let’s do it some moar~! ?

Veronica: Alrighty, Terr, let’s walk just like daddy~!
Terrance: Dawee!

Justin went to upgrade the washer. I can't remember what Veronica is up to.... But Terrance decided to poop his pants....
Terrance: Waaaa! Dawee... Poo-woo~!
Justin: Alright, lil' guy. Hold on for a sim!minute, daddy's got his hands full...

Thankfully, mommy came to the rescue!

Terrance: Mowy! Keehehehe!
Veronica: Here comes the tickle monster~! Rawr!

They finally got a computer, to Justin’s excitement. First thing he did was overclock it, lol.

Justin: Hmm, if I do this… and this… it should be just about… done.
Ami: Computer whiz at work! Yayz!

Terrance was busy with the xylophone, so Veronica and Justin slipped into the bedroom for some privacy.

Justin: I’ve been waiting to get you alone since breakfast, Sunshine.
Veronica: Oh, really?

Wild Sexy Time~!

Veronica: Ahhh, it’s so nice being married! *sigh*
Ami: Ok, are you saying that just because you got some woohoo action?
Veronica: Ami, not in front of Terr!
Ami: My… bad…?

Yay, family dinner time! Their life is almost set to a schedule right now, it’s nice. Unfortunately it doesn’t stay that way for long…

Veronica: Honey, you know I was wondering if you’d be up for another baby sometime soon. Terr is getting older and I think it would be a good chance to have another so they’re close in age.
Justin: Hmm, that would be nice. As long as you don’t mind the maternity leave, I mean.
Veronica: Oh, well a few sim!days won’t matter much.
Justin: I wonder if we’ll get another son like Terrance.

Haha, dreams tell you quite a bit about sims. Poor Justin’s got this determined pout on his face while thinking about getting a promotion, while Veronica is dreaming of toddlers.

Ami: Don’t worry Justin, all your hard work will pay off soon enough.

Veronica: Oh, geez… *blarg* Not again...
Ami: Tehehehe! You know what this means~!
Veronica: I wish I could feel happy as happy as *barf* you are right now… Yuck! *spit*

Justin: Alright, toilet let’s make you self-cleaning. Don’t want your stinky smell to cause Sunshine nausea any more than necessary. *bang bang clack*

*gurgle* BREAK!
Ami: Hahaha, way to go Justin! You got it self-cleaning but know it’s broken!
Justin: Hmpf! Well, not everyone can do everything perfect. Just gotta fix this *plungeplungeplunge* and we’ll be all set!
Ami: Plunge that sucker good. Hard and deep, just the way you like it. *snort*
Justin: O___O EHH?!

Terrance really is going to be a well-rounded kid. He picks up on things so easily and has pretty much leveled both the peg box and xylophone to at least level 2 already. It’s cute how he still gets this overly excited face when he plays a note on this thing. I can’t help but mimic his exact expression each time I see it.

And Veronica makes sure to make time to start teaching him to talk before the weekend is over. He spoke his first word after only one failure, too!

Veronica: Mommy and daddy put FIRES out at work. Can you say FIRE? Fa-ye-er!
Terrance: Faier! Fire!
Veronica: OMG, Justin! He just said fire!
Justin: *looks away from computer* Wha? Really?! That’s my boy!

Terrance learned to talk and just as he was about to get his dinner…

*POP*

Veronica: Oh, Terrance, look you’re gonna have a baby brother or sister soon. *gleams*

Terrance: Sister…?
Justin: *looks away from computer* Wait, what Sunshine? 8D

Soo.... I caved in and snagged a copy of Generations today even though I'm broke now....

I swear, I couldn't help it! I even found it on eBay for about $30, instead of the $40 that it is in the EAStore. The strollers and tree houses and pranks were irresistible! But anyways, it's been ordered. It's making me wanna play Sims now, but my Local Partitioned Drive won't have space on it for the new EP, and I've been wanting to move my Sims onto one of my much larger partitioned drives, so I'm in the process of re-installing the game and all EPs now. It'll take some time though, since my EPs are all digital versions that require me to download them before installing. *pout*

Here's to hoping I don't have issues installing.

NEW: So, I spent the whole night getting Sims 3 + EPs installed and merging my package files so loading was easier and I went to start it up... The game loaded fine, but when I went to load a save it CRASHED....!

I deleted the cache files, NO WIN. So I moved out my Mods.... FINE. Woohooer crashed my game...! That baffled me, until I went to check the Patch Version... The game updated it to 1.22, the version needed Generations. *hangs head* So my Woohooer and probably my SameSex Preggers and MasterController mods are probably obsolete atm. No Sims 3 for now...

Ok, so... I haven't gotten far in the story yet. I mean Veronica hasn't even had any babies yet...! But I'm MUCH farther in game, so...

Veronica recently aged to Elder, which had this eerie sense of doom coming on. Her spouse aged much sooner than that so he'll be gone much sooner... He's at like 80 sim!years last I looked..... So I've been getting kinda bummed... That is until the first baby, who just aged up, went YA and OMG *squee!* turned out AH-MAZing and I just have to spam on it! Cause I'm so excited now.

So I'm gonna spoil a bit.... It'll show up on the next update anyways, which I've started working on today, so I don't feel quite as bad. That and I have already promised babies. So the first born is a boy named Terrance and he's the sweetest thing ever, not to mention quite the looker in the end~! He takes after his mother a LOT, like all around. I honestly would love to marry this man!! I mean I <3 him as a toddler and child, but I thought he grew teen a bit awkward... Well, he's not the only one, but I was worrying he'd like come out weird for some reason.

I really wanna post pics, but I think that'd be spoiling too much way too soon. But I promise I'll work hard at cranking stuff out to catch up so you guys can all see for yourselves. I'll be squee-ing about this for a while, so don't worry I'll probably be in the same mood when the time comes.

Work it! There’s Fires Waiting to be Extinguished!

Alrighty~! The second installment is now here! That was quick, right? Well, to tell you the truth I’ve been sitting on practically all of Gen 1 screens for this story for a while now… I had to work up courage to write that first part, but since I’ve already gotten encouragement I figured I’d get another out. :D
Last we left off: Lotsa Awkward Turtle Moments , Disappointment Induced Workaholic Grind, Unexpected Sparks of Compatibility

We return to The Madisons! on the morning of Day 4. Thankfully, Veronica’s work hours don’t start until 9 AM and since she has no reason to go home, she practically lives at the Fire Dept, she manages a good night’s sleep.

Veronica: Good nights sleep…? I don’t know what you’re talking about… My back is killing me!
Ami: Hey, shut it! I’m narrating here and you filled you Energy bar up just fine, thank you.
Veronica: Yeah well the bed certainly didn’t help with that. They sagged like nobody’s business….
Ami: Well, would you rather get less sleep outside on your cheap bed?
Veronica: *grumbles*

Anyways! Today was going to prove to be one busy, busy day for V. I mean first thing in the morning she sat down to eat a ~~bland~~ lovely breakfast of jammed toast and before she even got a bite out of it the fire alarm sounded! Off to work!

It was another small house fire… Honestly I think fireplaces need care instructions posted on them so people know not to leave them burning through the morning unattended so they can start fires at 9AM. They were lucky V takes her job seriously and lives at work like a good, dedicated Sim. She handled it before it got too big, and made her way back to the station

where she could eat her breakfast that thankfully no one else ate while she was gone.

Veronica: I’m sorry I made you wait, my jammed toast. Mmm, food….

And, look who just got in! *points to Justin in the window*
Btw, the firefighters here do not like to clean up after themselves after their meals of ice cream every morning/evening. It’s the popular meal around here.

After breakfast, it was time for work behind the scenes. First, maintaining the Fire Engine…

Ami: Still waiting for you to honk that horn V…
Veronica: *sigh* How do I ever put up with you…?

Second is maintaining the Fire Alarm…

And then there’s the ~~getting pwned by the treadmill~~ physical conditioning…

Ami: V, I didn’t think you were the clumsy type…
Veronica: How rude, I am totally not clumsy! *pout*
Ami: Oh, really? Then, why does that *points to pwnage* seem to always happen…?
Veronica: It’s out to get me, I swear!

And finally there’s all the handiwork that needs to be done around the station. I don’t think anyone fixes stuff around here, which is weird because this job kinda requires you to be good with your hands. :/

Veronica: *plunge plunge* Firefighting is more exhausting than I thought it’d be… *plunge plunge*

Ami: Keep at it, V!

And after unclogging all the toilets in the lot, she runs into her favorite person, Justin!

Justin: Hey, hows things going? I don’t see you around much…
Veronica: Oh, well I’ve been busy all day. Had an emergency early in the morning and been working on maintaining this place since… There really is a lot of work that needs done around here, you know.
Justin: Oh yeah. It gets that way… I got really good at fixing things but I realized eventually I was the only one doing it so I just gave up.
Veronica: Ohh…..

Veronica: What’s your sign anyways? I’m an Aries.
Justin: Looks like we’re pretty compatible, I’m a Sagittarian.

Ami: That makes sense now… No wonder the click well!

Veronica: Well, I do really like you…
Justin: Oh, really? *raises eyebrows and smirks*

Ami: Awww~! Veronica you should totally ask him out. He’s totally waiting for you to make the move.

Veronica: Later. I have higher priorities right now.
Ami: Boo…. And here I wanted to see some cute babies being made. :(
Veronica: All in due time.

So Veronica worked on her goal towards defeating her old frienemy, the evil treadmill.

And when she decided to take a break for some refreshing juice she runs into this lady.

Veronica: Oh, you're Charmaine right? I’m glad I finally get to meet you. I’m…
Charmaine: Oh, I know who you are Veronica. How do you like being a firefighter so far? Getting accustomed to things around here, I hope.

Veronica: Oh, it’s so exciting! I’m trying my best to keep up with all the work here and learn everything I can.
Charmaine: Good, that the right kind of mindset. Feel free to ask me anything you aren’t sure of. *starts to turn away*
Veronica: Well, actually… I’ve been having some issues with the treadmill…

Charmaine: Oh with the fitness center downstairs? You can always try the weight sets if you aren’t getting enough from the treadmill. They’re great for building additional muscle.
Veronica: Umm… I’m not sure if that will help…
Charmaine: No really, I’ve been told you can get some nice results. Let me show you the training video.
Veronica: Wait, there’s a training video…?

BRR------RRINNNG!!!

Charmaine: What have we got control?
Veronica: Again? *changes in a flash*
Ami: Wow… it’s like you’re already a super hero, V… Can you teach me how to do that?! *starry eyes*
Radio: Small House fire in West district, and would you stop calling me control Charmaine…

Charmaine: Alright, you slackers, you heard the alarm. Let’s move, move, MOVE!!

Ami: Umm… I don’t think you’re qualified to be telling anyone what to do… You’re the lowest ranked out of the lot Charmaine… Pfft, what a poser. Acting like you run the place…

And so off we go for Emergency #2 for the day.

A case of mad inventor gone a little too out of control I think. And yes, she managed to save that bookshelf. :D

Ami: Yay, go V!
Veronica: Just doing my job. No need to thank. *accomplished pose*

Time for that juice now.

Ami: Oh, hey, V. Isn’t that a new uniform?!
Veronica: Yep, I got promoted. I’m a Fire Safety Instructor now.
Ami: Oh, wowzers!! Awesomes! *starry eyes* That’s my girl~!
Veronica: Who’s being dramatic now…?

Veronica: Oh, shizznits… I forgot I haven’t gone pee today…
Ami: ……. Well, at least there’s a bathroom right there with working toilets.
Veronica: *scamper to bathroom*

And this is Veronica’s reaction to Justin when he walks by. Cute isn’t it? =3

Ami: You sure you don’t wanna ask him to go steady…? Hmmm?

Veronica: Hey, Justin! Wanna go play some toss and catch?
Justin: Oh, that sounds like fun.
Ami: *pout*

Veronica’s got some guns now… I don’t think she know her own strength. Poor Justin… He got pelting a few times.

And then they synonymously yawned together. It was cute.

And slept next to each other dreaming of fire. They are so a match made in heaven~!

DAY 4 END

Next morning was just the usual… Well…

Not really…

Tim: WTF?! Why aren’t you wearing anything?!
Veronica: Huh? I’m wearing what I always wear. Why? Whats wrong?
Tim: What the hell do you mean “whats wrong”?! Stop trying to use your womanly wiles to seduce me! It’s disgusting!!
Veronica: WHA-?!
Ami: I told you people didn’t find it appropriate….
Veronica: *glare*

Once ~~Tim~~ ~~walked out in a huff~~ that smoothed over, Veronica got to her daily maintenance…

And promptly responded to a fire alarm…

Except it wasn’t a fire this time! *gasp* City Hall was in a bind! A Rogue Simbot was raving mad and wreaking havoc…! It was up to Veronica to save the day.

Jeffery Castor was the first Sim saved. He followed Veronica’s advice and calmly exited the building.

Until he realizes he left his friend inside!!! Thankfully he exits soon after. (I don’t know his name…)

Jeffrey: Oh shizznits...!
Friend: Gee, thanks Jeff… Way to just forget all about me…
Jeffery: OMG, I’m so so so so so so sorry!!

And then the last Sim exits the building.

And they freak out until Veronica gets the situation under wraps.

Simbot deactivated!

Veronica: Look, I know it’s a little hard to believe that Simbot are real, but when a firefighter tells you there’s an emergency and you need to exit the building, it’s not ok to act pretend play. It’s for your safety that I tell you this.
Jeff’s Friend: OMFG, I can’t believe you left me behind like that. What kind of friend are you?!
Jeffrey: I said I was sorry…! And you know I’m a coward… What do you expect from me?
Ami: Lol, what did she do pretend faint on you?
Veronica: *stare* yes… *sigh*

With that the work day was almost over so Veronica headed back to the station to drop off the fire truck. Just in time too!

Veronica: Oh, Justin! Hmm, I wonder what our kids will look like. *dreamy eyes*
Ami: Oh, you should go ask him out so we can find out soon!
Veronica: *ignore* Oh, hey, Justin!

Veronica: I was just thinking about you.

Veronica: You know, you’re hot stuff. We should totally hang out!
Justin: That sounds like a plan. Gimme a call sometime! *heads home*
Veronica: Oh crude... I forgot to tell him I’m a Hose Handler just like him now… :(
Ami: Oooo! I bet he'd love to hear about that skill, alright! *wink*
Veronica: *rolls eyes*

Veronica: This sucks… I wanted to hang out with him now… And cuddle on the couch and watch this awesome HD TV.
Ami: Yeah, it’s a little hard to invite him over when you don’t even have a house yet, huh?

Veronica: *ignore*
Ami: Hey, stop ignoring me!!

Ami: For that I’m gonna make you pump iron instead of relaxing! Feel the ~~pain~~ burn!!!

DAY 5 END

The next morning brought her back home. Her work week was over after all. She took the time to ~~ask to use their toilet~~ formally greet her neighbors across the street. It seems they had another visitor, but he didn’t seem to mind.

Veronica: Hi, it’s nice to meet you.
Neighbor: Yes, I was wondering if you were still around. I haven’t seen you lately.
Veronica: Oh, yes. I’m a firefighter, so my job is very demanding. I spend most of my time at the station.
Neighbor: That’s nice. Why don’t you come in?
Ami: Check out those muscles! You’re getting pretty buff there, V.

She then proceeded to use the neighborly facilities. Apparently it wasn’t ok…

Neighbor: Look Veronica… I’ll put up with your brazen showing of nudity because it’s on your own property, but I will not have you running amuck in my house. It is NOT ok to use my house at your leisure!

So, she heads home before she gets kicked out and reported to the city council for disorderly conduct.

Ami: Wait, isn’t that her food you’re cooking…?
Veronica: Well, she never said I had to put it back…
Ami: *facepalm* That’s one way to build a reputation for yourself in the neighborhood…

She doesn’t even rest at home it seems…

Veronica: I like this stove! I’m just making sure it’s fireproof.
Ami: You’re a firefighter at heart, V.

She spent the whole day at home doing random housework. Not sure how she found enough to do to occupy her time though… She doesn't own much.

The next day, we headed to town. :D Time to interact with new townies~!

Veronica: Bookstore first.
Ami: Oh, alright. Make sure to pick up some pregnancy books!

I can’t remember if she even bought anything, honestly. I doubt it though.

But she does meet this Goodwin Goode. Not too shabby if you ask me. Well in comparison to most of the other men in this city... They hit it off pretty nicely. If she hadn’t had her heart set on Justin already I seriously think she’d be swooning at this point.

But instead she made light conversation by making funny faces, which he thoroughly enjoyed.

So much in fact he started hitting on her. :D

Goodwin: Your hair is just breathtaking. It’s like looking at rubies!
Ami: Wow, I wonder if he’s related to Steven Tyler (Aerosmith) because they have the EXACT same mouth!

And even though she liked his advances, she knew Justin was the guy for her, so she diverted his attention and asked him to play some catch with her. It was her turn to get pelted this time. I think he was having too much fun…

Veronica: Oh, yowch!
Goodwin: Yes! Did you see that missile!! Wasn’t it awesome?!
Veronica: That’s some power you got there, let’s see you take this then! :D

After that, we went for a late night trip to the pool. The poor woman with black hair seemed absolutely terrified no matter what though. She kept nervously looking around. Maybe she was neurotic…

Veronica had fun playing hold your breath the longest, too. She won quite a few bouts and then got herself pwned by neurotic lady.

And then almost drowned….

Veronica: *huff huff* O…M…G… almost… didn’t… make it…. *huff huff*
Ami: Please don’t kill yourself… I need babies to carry on the family name.
Veronica: Is that… all you… care about?! *huff*
Ami: No… *pout* I really don’t want you to die. I lurves you too much. But… We really do need someone to carry on the name…

WEEKEND END

Ok, the whole day by day thing is pretty much done now. I mean her day to day life stays pretty constant atm and generally those kinda days just seem to blur together as time passes anyways. So, on to next week~!

Bills, bills, bills….

Veronica: Oh, postman, hold on one sec. Let me just sign this and give this to you now…
Postman: Come on lady, do I look like your personal ~~slave~~ assistant?

She makes sure to maintain the station well.

And emergencies start rolling in again. You can see what everyone else in the station does after she leaves, lol. Don’t they live the life? Tim is looking for a book to read, Charmaine is sitting down to eat and Justin heads upstairs to either sleep or watch some TV.

Oh, it’s not a house fire – it’s a gnome invasion!!

Gnome: @!$#*
Ami: *gasp* Potty mouth!!!
Veronica: Oh, brother…

We gotta catch those gnomes before time runs out and they take over the ~~world~~ Clay household!

Veronica: Quietly….. *tip toe*

Veronica: Gotcha!! XD

Veronica: Harwood, I got them all. I think they may have blackwater swam in through the lake in the backyard and poofed their way inside. They seemed like they were on a mission, but they’re locked up so you should be fine now.
Harwood: Huh…?

Hey, look! The treadmill isn’t pwning her anymore!

And she’s even raising the bar.

And doing daily maintenance….

And forgetting about the bare necessities in life….

Oh, this is new. She’s actually eating with company! She and Tim seem to be getting along fine since the delusional last episode they had. Justin looks a bit awkward though…

Justin: Oh, I missed her….! But, Justin, you gotta play it cool. Let her come to you.

And of course she ended up talking to him.

Veronica: Hey, Justin. Guess what?
Justin: Oh, hey. What’s up?
Ami: He’s like a cute puppy, I swear! :D
Veronica: I got promoted! I meant to tell you Friday before you went home that I got Hose Handler, but today I just got promoted to Firewoman. :D
Justin: Oh, wow. That’s amazing! You’re really working hard.
Veronica: Well, you know…. I try.

And she dreams of the next promotion to come.

The next day brought her first large house fire. It was EXTREMELY demanding and had a bit of a learning curve… Apparently you have to extinguish all the window flames before going inside to guess what? SAAAVE SIMS!

And by the time Veronica made it inside, this happened…

Veronica: Holy SimGod! It’s so hot! And blinding me!

But Sims lives come first!

Veronica: Hold on!! I’ll have you out in a sec! Once I axed this damn door off its hinges….!
Ami: Oh, wow! This is totally badass!!! *squee*

Veronica: Yeah, you can say that because you’re not the one caught in the middle of this torrent…! Oh good SimLord… This is bad…

It took her most of the night to put that fire out…. But she saved some Sims lives that night!

She got home disappointed and exhausted. It was the first time she almost failed to extinguish a fire… She didn’t sleep well…

But her morning jammed toast cheered her up some. And Tim wasn’t there to have another delusional episode on her. (LOL)

But the large house fires didn’t stop there - this one was much tamer.

And she got to save more Sims lives! She even got an A on this one, too!

Ami: Finally get to start putting a dent into that LTW, right V?
Veronica: Yeah, but boy this super hero work is taxing.
Ami: What, did you think Super Heroes had it easy?! *chuckle*

All the thanks she gets make it more than worth the effort though. Every Sims she saves calls her no matter what the time is to thank her. It’s really very sweet. They don’t even get mad if she doesn’t answer because it’s in the middle of the night.

It seems Veronica earned herself some awards from City Hall. Since she doesn’t have any time for formalities usually, she stopped by on her way home and came back with a Honor Trophy for rescuing 2 Sims and a Valor Trophy for thwarting the gnome invasion earlier. :D

She doesn’t seem to care much about it though…. Back to work….

Ami: You know they say all work and no play makes…
Veronica: Shh! I’m concentrating…
Ami: Well, at least she’s acknowledging me now instead of just ignoring me…

Boy: Hey… Why are you axing our door…?
Veronica: What are you doing in here?! Didn’t I just carry you outside to safety not just a few sim!minutes ago?!
Boy: Yeah, but aren’t all the flames out…?
Veronica: *stares dumbfounded* No…
Ami: Lollerskates!!

And this marked the end of Veronica’s work week. She once again got a promotion. She is now a Fire Sergeant! Yay!! She heads back to the station a winner!

And, with her present success welling up inside, she indulges herself to some much awaited and needed romance.

Ami: YESSSSS!!!! XDDD

Justin: I was waiting for you to get back. Man does she look hot in that uniform…
Veronica: Oh, really? I was hoping you’d be here still. <3

Ami: O.O WOOOAHZA!!! First kiss FTW!! ^o^

And because I’m feeling mischievous, I’m ending this part here. No babies yet, sorry, but there will be plenty to come, especially now that V feels comfortable where she is in her career. Next chapter will have some fire, more romances, a bit of preggers, and… wait lemme see…. yep, babies! ;)

Get up and at ‘em! Show ‘em what ya got girl!

Though this isn’t my first legacy (well, first I started playing) after getting the World Adventures and Ambitions EPs, it is the first one I played in Twinbrook, the town that comes with Ambitions. I also started my founder with an Ambitions career right off the bat for the first time and it’s the first one I’m writing on, so there’s still a lotta first-ness. So, umm, don’t hurt me if this sucks… I’m a noob, I swear! Anyways, enough of my jibber-jabber and let the fun begin!

Meet our founder, Veronica Madison. She’s a rather ordinary girl, with a few issues sometimes but who doesn’t have those, right? Even though she’s ordinary, she really wants to make a difference in a big way, so she decided she’s gonna work hard to rock at saving lives! Since she’s not a genius, she figured it would be more practical to go for something more suited to her traits, so she’s becoming a FIREFIGHTER!

Ami: Hot, right?

(BTW I totally forgot to take a pic of her in the beginning from the front, so I had to make do with this one, hahaha…)

She inherited a plot of land back in Twinbrook and since graduating from high school, she really had nowhere else to go. So she packed her things and headed there. Before stopping off at her lot, she had a few things to take care of in town so she figured she’d give herself some extra time to get to know the place.

Veronica: Hmm, I wonder if there’s any cute, nice guys around I can start a family with…?
Ami: Yeah, she’s a good girl with good intentions… Kinda what happens when you’re a family-oriented person who wants to save massive lives. It’s serious business!
Veronica: What…? Is there something wrong with that…?
Ami: No, not really I suppose…
Veronica: Then why would you say that…? Poor me, being teased in such a way…! *dramatic woe is me*
Ami: ( >____>’) ………….

Anyways! She was on her way to City Hall when a ruckus caught her attention. Seeing her confusion (or rather, saw she was a PYT and wanted to get to know her) Wei Keane was more than happy to help clear things up.

Veronica: So.. would you happen to know what’s going on…? I just moved here so I’m not sure, but is that a riot over there about some politician getting office after a suspiciously coincidental recount? Oh, or maybe they found out he had a sex scandal…!
Wei: WTF is wrong with this girl…?

Let’s just say that didn’t end well… He pretty much thought she was mental.
Ami: Way to make a good first impression Veronica.

Having that good sense of humor definitely helped the situation though. He really cracked up when she tried to explain herself.

Veronica: You see, back home there was all this hype about the mayor who got elected and he got caught dressed in women’s lingerie tied to his bed one morning by his maid and the whole town was in an uproar over it. It ended up being tabloid gossip, but the whole town was scarred for life after just the image of it.

After that save she promptly excused herself before she really embarrassed herself more and decided to find out for herself what the hubbub was all about.

Apparently, the townsfolk aren’t happy with the police and their ability to fight off crime… More would soon join the picket line, too.

Veronica spotted a man in a suit and decided to introduce herself. You couldn't quite see his face because his sign was in the way but I think she thought he’d be a stud since he had a sharp suit on who deeply cared about the welfare of the town, but…

Ami: Yeah…. *headpalm* I worry about your instincts Veronica…
Veronica: What? He was a very nice man. He was just a little too old for me… And I don’t think I want to imagine babies with those cheekbones…. Can you imagine how much they’d get teased? My poor darlings!

Come to find out he’s actually married already (even if his marriage is failing) and much, much older than Veronica.

When she turned around, this is what she saw. I cracked up when I saw it, lol. Either he’s not fond of his career as a thief or he’s disappointed with the competition and isn’t being challenged enough. I'm not sure which it is, but it’s funny he decided to protest in his work outfit.

Well, he caught Veronica’s attention. Boy was he happy he did, even if he managed to seem pretty aloof about the whole introduction. Not really sure of her intentions on this either...

Veronica: So, I’m new in town and I don’t really own anything and I have almost no money to spend… You wouldn’t happen to know anywhere I could find some furniture at a cheap rate?
Ami: Oh, wow! You ask the thief that….?!

Well, he seemed pretty nice. He offered to acquire some for her, but she wasn’t comfortable with that. Firefighters needed to stay good in the eyes in the law, right? He took it quite well. Must be because she’s pretty.

Veronica: So… The best place I can find stuff for dirt cheap is the junk yard…?

She’s seems a little put off with that answer, but she decides to check it out.

Veronica: What could there possibly be at this dump...?
Ami: Well, you did say dirt cheap. Maybe he took it literally, pfft. LOLZ!
Veronica: *glare*

And she runs into this guy, Marc Brandt.

Veronica: Why, hello there! I’m Veronica. What’s your name?
Guy: Marc.

I think she liked his dark, nonchalant attitude. Well, that and the tattoos. He seemed sweet when you talked to him for a bit and they certainly seemed to get along well, but she was there for a reason and it was getting dark.

So, she started rummaging… Wasn’t much there though and none of it was still intact.

Marc was still there reading a book and as any interested Sim would do, Veronica casually found a reason to stick around and get to know him. Unfortunately, he wasn’t much interested… no matter what she said.

Veronica: So, what book is that?
Marc: ….
Veronica: I read Murder in Pleasantview a little while back. It was so much fun to read. The ending was such a surprise, don’t you think?
Marc: .......
*awkward chirping noises*

Veronica: Oh, wow, it’s getting late. I should probably head home… I hope my bed got there in one piece….

Poor Veronica… She looked back to see if he was for some reason looking up from his book to watch her leave just to see if he was playing hard to get. It didn’t work…

And welcome to the humble abode… Really, there’s not much there. She doesn’t even have any walls or a roof!

Veronica: I did tell you I didn’t have any money… Walls are so expensive! How am I supposed to afford a mortgage? Hmm, this shower even has a gauge so I can keep track of my water usage… Nifty!

Not sure what she’s gonna do about the no toilet situation btw….

Well, time to get some sleep… She spent it dreaming of, what else, getting a new house built.

DAY 1 END

The next morning came and Veronica was up in the early afternoon. She needed to get used to being up when she started work, which she was determined to tackle that today. She had had a bit of time to get used to the town and pick up the feel of things here. It was rather laid back, and that was reassuring; it’d make it easier to transition. On a side note…

Ami: Veronica you do realize you aren’t behind closed doors, right…? Walking around like that is a bit much don’t you think?
Veronica: Hmm? Oh, well the neighbors don’t seem to mind much. I even said hi to her when she came out to pay her bills.
Ami: Pretty sure she was avoiding looking at you though…
Veronica: Meh. *shrug*

Though she had every intention of putting her application in at work, she decided to stop off at the gym to assess her fitness level. It wasn’t the best… Actually, it was non-existent. She couldn’t even manage to lift the lowest level of weights……. I suspect the default settings were high there though. Most everyone else there wasn’t having any luck getting anywhere either.

Well, everyone except this guy… He was trucking it so fast and hard he was sweating like a waterfall.

Veronica: Scary…!!! *frets*

Veronica: Oh, man, this is too much. Ugh, I stink. Whoooo… *waves hand to fan the stench*

While Veronica was in the shower, these 2 had some kind of confrontation… Come to find out it was a family feud situation and Max didn’t think his son Dennis was pushing himself hard enough………(How much harder can you ask a man to push himself?! He was sweating buckets and dashing like a madman…! I mean look at him again!!)…. And something about having issues stealing enough to survive……. Veronica has reason to be scared.

And on a funny note, we ran into this on the way out the door, lol. She was fine, just a bit bruised.

After Veronica sneaked out of the gym she headed to town.

And got dropped off at the town square, where she decided to practice some chess on a whim.

Ami: Umm… Veronica there’s a woman over there you can practice with, and you know make friends.
Veronica: I thought that’d be too forward which hasn’t worked too much so far… So I tried this approach.

Okaaay… lets visit this scene then…
Veronica: You have a very interesting sense of fashion. Did you take inspiration from the beautiful butterflies that frequent here?
Amy Bull: HeHeHe! Take that! I just sunk your battleship~!
Veronica: Oh, that’s ni….. wait, what…? *looks up*
… Silence….
Veronica: Who was she talking to….? *whispers* Is she ok?
END SCENE

Ami: Yeah, that worked out well did it not? You know V, maybe if you were more attentive to who you try to get to know you would be more successful in finding more like-minded people willing to become friends.
Veronica: Really…? So… I’ve been doing this all wrong…? I won’t be alone for my whole life? *melodramatic*

Then this lady spontaneously made funny faces at Veronica in passing and I start to wonder if this town is just full of crazies…

Veronica: OMG…Wha…?!

So, I got Veronica outta there and into the nearest building, The Red Rendezvous, where Veronica promptly decides she needs a drink.

Veronica: This looks like a nice place to relax. There’s even a young girl here being studious. Let’s give this place a shot!

Veronica: Be chill, Veronica. Relax, there’s no one weird here… Just start casual…

Veronica: I can’t help but notice, but do you happen to use Tide when you do your laundry?
Guy: She’s not talking to me is she? I’ll just pretend I didn’t hear anything.
Ami: *headpalm*

It was pretty awkward after that… So, we headed to the Fire Dept. which was pretty much next door and look what they have!

HD TV!! Safe to say Veronica was a fan. Actually this place is pretty kickass. You could live here comfortably. There’s a trampoline, a computer, chess board, easel, workout center, books, bathrooms on every floor, plenty of sleeping accommodations and a small kitchen. It’s like a home away from home, or in Veronica’s case more of a home then she’s seen yet.

Veronica: *enthralled*

After applying for her new career and getting her tour, Veronica decided to get some practice for work off the clock like the good, determined girl she is and did some maintenance on the fire alarm so it’d be in tip top shape for her first day of work tomorrow and then headed home.

DAY 2 END

Rise and shine! And it’s another morning of showing off the goods to her neighbors. ;)

But today she gets to wear her new work outfit and boy, does it look good on her! She’s officially a Watergirl!

Her first day of work she gets picked up by this lovely woman in this totally awesome truck,

Ami: I want one!!!

But it’s all business for Veronica. She remains stoic.

And since firemen NEED to be fit to survive, she works on her fitness because lord knows she needs it. The treadmill seems to be treating her somewhat nicer and she starts progressing towards learning this new skill, until… The fire alarm sounds….!

Veronica: Oh, shizznits! How do I get off this thing? *trip* Aghhh!
Ami: That one way to do it…

Yeah, she just got pwned by the treadmill, lolz.

But no time to dwell on that, the clocks ticking and every minute counts!

Ami: Ohh, Veronica you’re so lucky you get to drive that truck! Honk the horn, honk it!!
Veronica: Will you be serious? There’s probably someone in mortal danger out there!
Ami: V… It’s a small house fire, relax.
Veronica: You just wait, one day you’ll need a firefighter to come save you and imagine how you’d feel if they were leisurely honking their horn on in front of the station instead.

And… it was just a small house fire… She did really well for her first emergency though. She handled it like a boss! Don’t believe me? She got her first promotion after that fire. Guess who’s a Soot Stripper?!

Ami: Ooooh, yeah~! *whistles* Smudge that soot off and show us what you can do on that pole~!
Veronica: *rolls eyes dramatically*

Back to the Fire Dept. and back to getting in shape. There’s no rest for this girl, she’s got bigger dreams than this.

Veronica: Woah… Gotta hang on… Ack…!
*slip* BAM!

Veronica: HaHaHaHa! Those sound effects on these things are so lifelike aren’t they? Pretend like that didn’t happen.
Ami: Errr…. Pretty sure that was just the sound of you getting pwned by that treadmill.
Veronica: What? Pwn me? Why would you make up something like that?!
Ami: Then why aren’t you on the treadmill anymore……
Veronica: Hmpf!

After a while of walking on the treadmill she managed to get used to its rhythm and managed to not have to cling to the thing for her very life. She even gained an audience! This co-worker cheered her on for a good while.

And gasped when she nearly slid off the treadmill.

I would have inclined Veronica to go talk to him if it weren’t for this… Can anyone say Mr. Creeper? He was smart enough to be gone before she saw… I kinda left it at that and didn’t mention it; I didn’t want V to freak out on me.

After her refreshing shower, Veronica really needed some sleep. A day of hard work leaves you exhausted, so she headed upstairs to snag a bed.

And, woah!

Guy: Oh, my bad. I didn’t know someone was downstairs still. I was just practicing my moves, you know…

Veronica: It’s ok, I wasn’t paying much attention. Too tired…
Guy: Oh, you’re the new girl, right? The names Justin.
Ami: My, my, isn’t he a cutey, V, and he’s even showing off for you too. He’s got some mad skills with that wrench. I wonder what else he’s good at? *wink wink* Go get him!

Veronica: Yeah, I just flew in a few days ago and OMG you can’t imagine how awesome it was.

Veronica: The view was breathtaking! I wanna live on one day, you know after I rescue lots of people!
Ami: Umm… V… Come back to Earth world….
Justin: OMG, you too?! Planes are so rad. Their computer systems are unbelievable!
Ami: …… wow…. Just wow. How did that happen?

Veronica: You know, I was really worried after moving here because I didn’t seem to fit in much. You’re a great guy, I can’t believe I get to work with someone so awesome!
Justin: Aww, shucks.

Veronica: No, really. I’ve had a rough time so far. I don’t even have the money to build a house on the plot of land I bought. It’s just a law with a buit of furniture.
Ami: Umm… That’s prolly not the line to use to catch a guy, V….
Justin: That doesn’t sound that bad. I mean think of it this way, you get to build it into the image you want. You know, really make it your place from the foundation up!
Ami: Wow… What a great guy~! *swoons*

Veronica: Oh that does sound nice! Maybe have a nice romantic spot in the back. You know… Would you be interested in something like that…?
Justin: Mmmhmm. *stares* I think she likes me. ;) Sweet!

Veronica: …. So sorry…! Toilet!!!
Justin: I can’t believe she likes me…. Ohh, nice ass!

When she finished, it was promptly time for bed – it was either the bed or the floor and the bed sounded much comfier.
Veronica: Mmmm…. Flame starter….

DAY 3 END

OK, there ends the first part of my Madison Legacy! Yeah, its pretty rough around the edges and I haven't quite gotten down the right number of photos I need to take in game to create a nice, flowing story, so please excuse me of that... But I did my best and I'm rather proud of the results. :D I'm glad to get any constructive criticism I can get, though, so don't feel bad if you see anything lacking. Just let me know and I'll do my best to use the advice.

Yeah, I'm a slacker... But hey! It's a month since I set this here homebase up an guess who hasn't done anything with it? >___> Ahem! I am working on my first Legacy story though. It's more tedious than figured, and I am kinda just winging it. My attention span is horrid too. But have no fear all my 0 onlookers, Something will be coming out soon! But I wanted to celebrate my 1 month anniverday of sim-posting-nothingness~! YAY!! Ok, lets see if I can crank out my first real post by the end of the month.

AMICHAMA: HIII!!! So I’m amichama. Totally obvious but, oh well! *cough* ( >__>)

I just recently got into The Sims (3), and I must say it is entirely because of all the legacy blogs out there. So, GUESS WHAT?! I’m staring my own!! Now I will have to apologize ahead of time, I am not a person who holds well to schedules and I tend to hop around to different things frequently, so I’ll probably be posting a GA-JILLION stories all at once at different paces. And… Being as I’m new at Simming, some pics will be crap-tastic, hahahaha!

Anyways, I have several stories in the works atm and hopefully will be posting them in no particular order. Though they are my most recent stories, I’ll probably be posting The Madison’s and Alien Syndrome first, but there’s also my Dodson(first one I started) and Nolan Legacy and then the Parsonage Orphanage. See, told ya… And to think I've only had the base game for a few months and the Ambitions & World Adventures expansions for about a month... Can anyone say Sims Addict...?
