Well everybody, I am off to college tomorrow. I'll be leaving in the morning and gonna be driving all the way to Wisconsin. :D

Hey everybody, here's what's been going on with the job hunt: with IN-N-OUT they already hired and told me to come back a month later, they said they will be hiring then. I guess the most annoying part(but lame anyways lol) I grew a goatee which too me 6 weeks to grow, but when I arrived at IN-N-OUT they told me I had to shave it off or the top manager wouldn't even think about hiring me. So now I come to a decision, do I regrow it and go back to IN-N-OUT or grow it and repeat the process. :/ Whatever...idk what I should do...you know what, I am going to regrow it. :D Who cares, I'll see what happens later maybe I'll be able to get a job somewhere else. Right now almost nobody is hiring out here in Cali. :(

Good news is I finally got my drivers license at age 18! (I am 19 now :D ) Too many drivers in my fam, which prevented me from starting sooner...lol. I have to wait on driving once again because I don't have a way to pay for it. :p

This semester I joined the choral group at our community college, after tryouts I was placed as bass! The group is amazing!! :D We had our performance last Saturday down in the California Theater San Bernardino. What was really awesome was on Friday the day before the performance I needed to find a tuxedo and renting wasn't really an option because we will perform 3 times this semester. My instructor Doc suggested that I go to the Goodwill(thrift store) out here and look at the suit coats they have. On my way there I was doubting that I would even find a black coat, so I prayed that I could find what I'm looking for. So, when mom and I got there we saw large circular coat racks full of these coats, but then my mom noticed on the wall nearby a couple more coats but one had these really nice pants hanging down behind it. O.o We walked over and it was a brand new looking tux coat and pants! And to make it even better they fit perfectly! Which is amazing due to my length.
We were really happy to have found those for really small fraction of the cost to buy or rent one. :D We decided to head to the Bridal Shop to get a Bo-Tie(sp?) and see what shirts they use with a Tux, we got there and a lady came up we told her we were looking to buy a Bo-tie and a shirt, she measured me and we found a shirt my size and went to see how much this was going to cost us. With a 10% discount is was going to be $31, to rent those two items it would only be $15. But then she said, we might have a used shirt in the back and that would bring it down to $21. Sure enough she did! :D We save a lot from renting because they had a used shirt in the back. :DDDD

Okay, as for the food. I went down to California Theater down in San Bernardino (our performance is this Saturday at 8) in a carpool, the practice ended early so we decided to eat somewhere. THe four of us in our vehicle left to Carls since the others couldn't decide on what to do, after we got there a friend of mine and my self don't have really any money at all. So we were tying to figure out what to split if we could when this guy who was leaving asked me if we had chosen what we wanted to eat. We told him no and he gave me this coupon he was holding and it said two Western Burgers for $3! Two hamburgers only cost us $3.24 thats it! :D Looking back on yesterday I'm soo thankful, God save us a lot of time and money on the clothes. :)

Well, so far nothing has happened with IN-N-OUT. Both managers that interviewed me really like me but they can't do anything about it, I think they are full right now. I did overhear on of the workers saying she was think about leaving, so we'll see. :p

Last year before the Christmas I went for my drivers test and I failed it, it of course was my own fault but it didn't help that the woman didn't like me. She was kinda creepy...lol. Oh well, anyways Christmas was awesome as usual! We had a total of 34 people! 25 are my relatives, for the rest of the week I spent my time with my cousin and his nephew. :D
We stayed up til 3:30am on New Years day, we made a bunch of junk food and just ate and talked till we fell asleep. lol

Now we are back almost to harsh reality, in the next couple of months I'm going to be working on my older brothers Toyota Camry. It's an 88', I know little to none about cars; I've changed tires brakes and the oil, but in this case I am going to be changing the transmission. Thats going to take me a lot of time. I'll have to get a manual that will tell me step by step on what I should do. :P

What did you guys do for Christmas and New Years? I'd love to hear. :D

Okay... so far nothing yet from IN-N-OUT, I don't think they will be hiring before the new year. Ugh...lol

Last week I have two band performances and it was awesome!!! :D We had a composer from Belgum come here and write a piece for my group and a band group above mine at our community college. :D The last song he did the crowd gave him a standing ovation for a good while! It was soooo cool to see that, I asked if he could sign my music sheet and he did so I'm super happy. :D

Other than that my fam is getting ready for the Christmas holiday, we will be at my grandma's house till the New Year so I won't have any internet connection. :p When I get back you all have to tell how your Christmas and Yew Years celebrations went! :DD

Well, I got my second interview and it went pretty good I think. :DD

When I got there, I sat down and these two guys next to me got up, took their food and left. In like 2 minutes I noticed that a set of keys were left by one of the guys, I picked them up gave then to one of the workers and told him one of these two guys left his keys. After looking for them for a few minutes none of us could find them...then I saw the guy who left in coming towards the building so I quickly went to the cashier and told her the guys is back! So after all that I sat back in my seat and a woman standing a few feet from me commented on what I did, she said "If you were trying to get a job here I'd hire you." I told her I was. :p She started saying that they should hire me and so on. While she was doing that the manager comes to me to start my second interview and she tells him that I was the on who found the guys keys and that they should hire me. I was a little embarrassed by that but I was cool, the interview was quick but it went well. :DD The Manager said that he hopes to see me back! I just now have to wait and see if I will get a call to have the final interview. :p

That was my week :p

Chances are nobody will see this since I haven't been here for an entire year. Buuuuuuuut here's what's been going on:

As of last year I was on my last year of school, I was trying to complete two years worth of school in six months. Because of God's help I finished it all!! And with A's!! And I continued to grow. :P I am a half an inch under 6 foot 2.
Anyways, I finished high school and have been looking for a job for a couple of months now, I got an interview with IN-N-OUT Monday before last and I will be going in next week for a second interview!! I am totally siked(sp?)!!! And it's sad but I still don't have my driver's license but I do have my permit, most of that has to do with my family. I have have 8 other brothers and sisters and we have five drivers not including myself and my twin. :P

I've missed all of you guys here on LJ!!!! :( Tell me how you are all doing!!

From this: to this:

First off, I started by using this picture:

I cropped the picture to a 420x250. :) Now for Harry, I made his eyes green by adding a layer with the color #18ff00 using a soft 9x9 fuzzy brush.
Merge those and duplicate to Overlay, opacity 100.
Make a new layer and add the color #ffe400 settnig it at Soft Light, opacity 58.
Merge those layers.

After that then you do a Color Balance:
~COLOR BALANCE~
Midtones: -100, -60, 40
And it will look like this:

Alright! Now what I did was I used a lot of color layers. Don't freak out, it's pretty easy: Make three new layers.
First, put in the color #f5d5f8 and set it at Soft Light, opacity at 60.
Then: #b7d7ef set it too Burn.

Next you use this color: #e3ca9a set to Multiply at 60.

Copy the first color: #f5d5f8 twice and bring both to the top. Set the fisrt one to Overlay at 80.
The second one set at Burn at 100.

The next part is Exclusion (screen, screen, subtract for GIMPers) use this color #010111, 100.
merge and duplicate:

The second you will use Channel Mixer:
~CHANNEL MIXER~
Red: 169, -60, 0
Green: 0, 100, 0
Blue: -60, 60, 100
(preserve luminosity on)
Leave it at Normal and then set it to 60.

Now, this is for the banner, if your making an icon you can disregard this if you'd like: Next, I used a texture by peoplemachines and removed everything except the black top. Set it at Multiply, 100.

and then crop it to a 100x100. I focused on the people on the right. :) And that is it!

Don't worry! I haven't forgoten about my LJ!

I meant to write this sooner but I was delayed, I am going to try to post my icons that I do, once a week. That may mean only a few icons.(depending on how many challenges I participate in)
Although, for this week I will have a fair amount to post. They're ready, but I wait to post them as soon as the voting ends for Wizard_icontest, Fellowship_hush and EveryIconRUs.

Aaaaaand...I am going to change my layout! I am tired of looking at it, I'll see when I can start!! xD

Well! This weekend we are having most of our relatives come for Easter!!! Yesss!
Right now, we have to get our yard ready and we have to make sure our dirt court ready. It's always interesting to playing in 8O degree weather on a dirt court(Normaly it get's much hotter out side than 80, we've had it get up to 96 outside). Dust flying everywhere, people all hot and sweaty.
We tend to have around forty of our relatives come. So our house is packed! Our living room will have five extra tables and very little room to walk around in! I can't wait!!

So, what do are you all doing for Easter?

Today Valerie and I went to out with our pastor and a couple others to give out some flyers at a Mobile Home park, we were trying to get people to come for Sunday School. (We spent about an hour and a half walking around) Well, tomorrow we will see if any of those people will show.

Other than that I have been playing Madden 2007 for PC. I made it with the Saints to the Super Bowl but lost. The next season I go undifeated and win the Super Bowl. Thru out the whole season, I avreaged letting only 39.5 yards rushing per game. I let under a 1000 yards rushing in the whole season.

Shortly I got to go and finish all of my chores.

Well, today I had music lessons and those didn't go well untill I was almost done. I was not able to play for my teacher because of my chest congestion. It went better after I stood up. (I play the trumpet)

Colts win over the Bears 29-14!!! Yay!!

Then for today I went to the work out and did a fair amount of work. But my arm was bothering me, I think it was from last week being sick weak and them coming to work out as soon as I got over the flu. Even though I got over the flu, I still have a lingering coughing.
Besides that, it was just a slow school day.
