I have mis-budgeted my time egregiously this holiday season. Commisions and social obligations and work and traveling... I can't believe that Christmas is only ONE WEEK away. What the hell happened? I still have about a third of my shopping left to do. Granted, most of the adults in my family are getting wine, but there are still some odds and ends left. My cards are all written out and addressed, but need to be actually sent. Stuff like that.

I am still doing the Holiday Giftlist swap, but now I'm making my deadline be New Year's. 'Cause it's still a holiday. And I have most of that stuff picked out or planned anyway.

Anyway, I've got jewelry on the brain, so take this quiz! Part of it is me wondering what I should buy more of in my next supply order, but I'm also genuinely curious as to trends in taste, and views of jewelry.

Considering my budget is smallish this holiday season, I've decided to do a lot of crafting. I think I might do a version of the friendslist wishlist swap that I've been doing for a few years, but in general, I'll be making a lot and supporting my fellow Etsiers. I've always loved receiving handmade items and baked goods, because they're more unique and somebody put a lot of love into them.

That said? I know it's time to start buying and crafting, but damn, I am not even remotely ready for it to be the holiday season yet.
