5/6 Angel

- Wesley hot. He looked so damn good to me tonight that I was about half a second from yelling "fuck me" at the TV. Wesley hot.

- I don't think Wesley's guilty of anything at all. I don't think that deep down, Cordy and Gunn do, either... nor do Fred and Lorne. Well, guilty of anything but not telling them, but as the leader, he technically didn't have to. They're all not going to Wes because a) their ultimate loyalty lies with Angel due to the whole grief scenario, and b) as a result, Wes made it abundantly clear he doesn't want them to come to him. This is a situation where emotions override logic... doesn't make it right, but it makes it somewhat understandable. Or maybe I'm just rationalizing because I don't feel like bitching. But, at any rate... Lilah's point seems to be making Wes feel as if he's done something wrong, playing on his guilt about being fooled by the false prophecy. She knows he didn't do anything wrong, either, but she's a bad guy and an opportunist... she sees Wesley's gray area mental state as an opportunity for manipulation.

- Wes hot.

- Did anyone else mutter at Connor/Stephen and Sunny "for god's sake, can you two shower before you make with the smoochies?" 'Cuz I'll bet he'll look great after a shower and a haircut...

- Groo not being so obnoxious. I like Jealous!Groo.

- Finally, we get an episode free of Martyr!Cordy.

- That woman made me want to dye my hair blue. But I think I'll go for orange...

- Matrix ripping, much?

- liked the one-on-one Connor and Angel scenes. Good intensity, there. Can't wait until Connor finally figures out what really happened. Of course, Angel can't deny killing Holtz's family. He can try to explain that it really wasn't him, but it's debatable whether Connor will believe him.

- Can Holtz die already? Please?

- Did I mention Wesley = hot?

Right. Will be more coherent tomorrow when the poli-sci paper is completed.
