Spinny spin spin.

Just back from dance class. Flo is a really great teacher-- thorough, very prepared, and gets the new moves incorporated into improv right away. Tonight was a smallish class, and so the five of us worked on some new-to-me spin combos that I can really see myself using. She also started on another partnered move, but I need to get the weight-change/hip-work really concretely in my body before I can do the spin-with-partner section of it. I can do it just fine in lead-and-follow, but doing it mirrored/in opposition is still messing with my head a little. In other news, a Rilly Awesome Dancer might be teaching a guerilla workshop in ABQ next week. It's not confirmed, so I don't wanna jinx it, but if it happens, I will sell a kidney if that's what it takes to be there (not that they work particularly well, anyhow).

Okay, back to work. Today I've been working on commissions and stuff for the next update, which I'm shooting for April 27th. I think I might put all my Faerie Flower and Spring Blossom pieces on sale temporarily for Beltane. Because really, you gotta be sparkly and springy on Beltane, mm'kay? I also hit the PO to send out this week's orders thus far, and dropped $50 on silver. Whee.
