Taos, NM

Hello from Taos, NM. I am on a giant freaking mountain right now. J and I needed to get out of the house for awhile; he specifically needed to go snowboarding to work out some stress and I took the opportunity to tag along so we could have some much needed coupley hotel room time. I love my coworkers and all, but the walls are thin.

Our trip started out... innnnteresting, as we got halfway here and had to turn around because Jason forgot his snowboarding pants. *headdesk* After that three hour detour we actually got to our hotel around 10pm, meaning it was too dark to see the gorgeous mountains all around us. We got up for breakfast this morning and went "whoa." We were in a bowl, surrounded by the biggest mountains I've seen to date. I got lots of pics that are not cameraphone pics, and I'll post 'em when I get home.

We'll be sure to watch out for both billy goats and falling cows, as the signs have warned us.
