From desert to snowfall

Yesterday, Jason and I went on hikes through the Sandias. In the course of four hours, we traversed through desert and snowfall. Plus, there were some spectacular vistas-- both from the mountaintop and from the Sandia Tram, a 2.7 mile long tram car that takes passengers to a total elevation of 2 miles above sea level... where there's a restaurant. We had some snacks at the High Finance Restaurant, and have vowed to go back for dinner nearing a sunset. Anyhow, pictures!

Hello, Albuquerque!

The tram, which is the longest continual tram in the world.

It was chiiiiillly.

On the flipside, the bottom was desert.
Which begs the question-- what is the appropriate clothing for both desert and snow?

Hee.

With the city at my back.

A coupla randoms from around town...
I'm not sure I trust this restaurant.

Flissy! This store sells nothing but cupcakes, and it's a 10 minute walk from my house.
DANGER, WILL ROBINSON.

Random nearby house that looks like a spaceship.

Okay, time to get a move on. Must get to the post office. Ciao!

PS-- I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY HAIKUS YET. I AM SAD.
