Yukon, Ok

Writing from the LaQuinta Inn in Yukon, Oklahoma, right outside of Oklahoma City. We did over 700 miles today, and we have about 400 left tomorrow.
It was a pretty quiet ride... I'm almost through Palimpsest, which-- for those of you who asked-- is good, and engrossing. I do have some subtle criticisms to be mentioned once I've finished the book and mulled it over some, but for the most part, I'm enjoying it.
I passed Waverly, TN at 8:00am, and Memphis close to 10:00. I also waved to Little Rock, AR, as requested-- we stopped for lunch there, at US Pizza Co. Aside from that, there's nothing much else to report other than the fact that after I witnessed a thoroughly disgusting brown liquid copiously leaking from the truck, I will never eat Tyson chicken again. Other than that, we crossed a lot of flat land and swampy fields. A lot of car graveyards in trailer home front yards.
Right now, I'm again waiting for the other truck to catch up so we can do dinner. My belly is growly.
Tomorrow, we finish up Oklahoma, the top part of Texas, and we'll be in Albuquerque by nightfall.
