Nashville, TN

Greetings from the Hampton Inn in Nashville, Tennessee.

Today was relatively uneventful. We got up at 5am, out the door at 5:20, and were on the road at 6:30, right at dawn.

I slept some, then read the first third of Palimpsest. We drove behind a truck carrying "live exotic reindeer" for awhile and then saw a HELL of a tractor trailer wreck. The sheer number of Shoney's, Waffle Houses, and Cracker Barrels boggles my mind.

Right now, we're just waiting for the other car to catch up, then we're going out for some BBQ.

Tomorrow: the rest of Tennessee (which is really long), Arkansas, and part of Oklahoma.
