Last week in MD - Plans for ABQ
SOOOOO MUCH TO DO.
Monday: finish all the pieces for this week's update, eat dinner with Abby.
Tuesday: photography on the update, write copy for update, stop at PO, go into DDI and write up newsletter pieces, stop at Target for last minute stuff, go with J to select new glasses.
Wednesday: photoedit, post update, go to see my siblings in the city
Thursday: last rehearsal with Flissy, do a mountain of laundry, pack, pick up prescriptions
Friday: PO, bead shop run, in to DDI to finish off writing, back to the eye doc with J
Saturday/Sunday: drop off late orders, dinner with mom, dinner with friends in DC, stop and drop off fish with Ty & Roddy, finish packing
Monday: VAMOOSE.
That schedule is pretty much set. If I haven't seen you to say goodbye, I'm sorry. I just don't have any additional free time at this point. I'll see you when I get back. I may very well be planning a big party anyway. :)
Reiterating for those who may have not caught it the twenty times I've said it before and are still asking questions that make me go "BZUH?": we're driving to ABQ, we'll be there Wednesday or Thursday, I don't know which route we're taking and I have absolutely no control over where we stop because we'll be caravanning with timely travel in mind.
I don't know how soon I'll have internet access, but I will post while I'm out there.
I will post my mailing address under friendslock when I get there should you need it for any reason.
Once I'm out there, my plans are to get a bike and to meet up with some contacts I've made out there. I have a client/friend of a friend who wants to have lunch and show me around (yay!), and I've made contact with Bastet and also Flo of the Rogue Bindis to drop in on classes. I've already located the closest PO, so shipping shouldn't be too disrupted, and once I'm settled in after about a week, the studio will resume as usual, for those pending custom orders.
And with that, I have some work to finish.
