Winding down the studio for the night. I have one little bit left to do, then I'm packing things up for the evening. Worked on Valentine's Day stuff all night. Am direly in need of more red crystal; I'll be heading to the bead shop tomorrow.

I also have to pack some things together; Jason and I are housesitting for his parents for the next ten days, so it'll be a mini-dose of cohabitation before the ABQ trip... which, by the way, has been pushed back to early March due to construction being behind schedule. But it looks like our place will be close to a university with cafes and restaurants in walking distance. And a Whole Foods. Excited about that.

I watched Amistad tonight, which I'd never seen before. How Djimon Hounsou didn't get nominated for an Oscar-- let alone win one-- is completely beyond me. What a hard movie to watch. But good. I mean, it did get Hollywood-ized a bit... it was a bit too much Principled White People Save Ennobled Savage Man for my taste, but overall I liked it. I saw stills of Djimon playing Caliban in the upcoming Tempest adaptation-- I think he's a great choice. It's really easy to make Caliban so one-dimensional, but I think he'll be able to pull an interesting interpretation.

Annnywho. I've got a few more links to make, and then I'm attempting sleep. I hope I have another awesome dream like the one I had last night-- truly, it deserves its own post. Or possibly its own comic book. Not sure.

ETA: Just shy of 4:30am. Going to bed. Really!
