Once I had settled in with the gems, I promptly spilled an entire container of beads over. Graceful, that's me. I spent about an hour backtracking and re-sorting. It was pretty easy except the jumprings got all mixy with the one compartment of seed beads. But after that, I made two purplish necklaces-- one, a large violet chalcedony briolette crowned in red, purple, and pink spinel. Two, a small blue violet chalcedony marquise crowned in shaded amethyst. I've also played around linking some multicolored sapphire, but until I receive the focal they're intended for, I can't really do much. But it is pretty. All pastel and gorgeous. I have some half-finished pieces to complete, then it's all Valentine land here at Sihaya Designs for another week. All hearts and red and pink, pink, pink.
Now, shower-- more tea-- a cookie. Then back to work. I'm taking advantage that I'm not going into DDI until the afternoon tomorrow, so I'm likely to be working until the wee hours.
