Mmmm
Today, I am soft and content, having taken my first long, hot bubble bath in a while. I used Villainess's 'Smashing' soap, which was just awesome, and I'm gonna have to pick up some of the scrub. I really love Brooke's scrubs-- I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. I am having a big steaming cuppa tea and about to start on this month's commissions. It's a gray day and the cold is damp. It's good to be warm and comfortable. I'm definitely looking forward to dinner-- I'm going to do breakfast for dinner tonight, which means eggs, buttermilk biscuits, and potato latkes. Mmmm.
Despite a less than stellar Thanksgiving eve, the rest of the weekend was fantastic. J and I basically made no big plans and stayed in. We cooked together, we watched tv, and we did all the snuggly, hedonistic things that couples do. In a fit of tipsy giggles, we got engaged, but then I decided we're only 'pre-engaged' until he coughs up a ring. We tried to play the Deadwood drinking game a second time, but the sheer number of times 'cocksucker' was said during episode 10 made us quit halfway through. We had to keep pausing it to keep up. But all in all, it was like a little vacation. I can't wait until we have an apartment so we can do it more often.
Anyhow, here's some early warning. I'm going to be having a stocking stuffer sale on Friday, so if you're looking for little gifts, get ready. :)
