Lazy Saturday

Dinner with my family was good last night. My brother, Matt, and Jason get along exceedingly well. Timmy came over afterwards and told us all the evils of Poetry.com, and then I fell asleep in the middle of the conversation everyone else was having because the toothache had given me a ginormous headache right behind my left eye. Everybody left after midnight, then I cuddled up against J and we fell asleep. He's like the world's most awesome pillow.

He left earlier this afternoon because I have work to do; I made myself some soft scrambled eggs and admired the pretty pinky-peach lillies Annabean got me for my birthday. I got to use my dancing witches teacup-- the thing is just adorkably cute. The tooth is a little less painful than yesterday, but I am still going in to see a dentist on Monday morning.

I also posted my thoughts about the NPR interview with the Network of Enlightened Women to their blog. My reply to someone who responded to my comment has been put into moderation under the guise of deterring spam. It has yet to be posted. According to another poster, "Agatha," this has happened to other people who are critical of the organization. We'll see if my response gets posted or not.

With that, I am exiling myself to my room to get some work done. I've got two commissions and several Halloween/Autumn pieces to do today. I have period pieces to watch, and I've got chocolate chip cookies. zenmaster, I've got a steaming cup of coconut chai at the ready, and it is delicious!
