AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGK

Sleeeepy. I’m not so sure my backup plan of a sari top is going to work for this weekend; it was a little loose in the underboob-ular region, and I don’t want to make my gazungas a surprise guest star. So, with the continuing of the bra sewing. I have most of the thing covered except the side straps, which I have to re-do because upon testing them out, they were too short to wear without a choli (and I have no short sleeved cholis). The middle part is a little unfinished yet, as I again cut the fabric a mite too short. Easily enough fixed; I can also tack it down and cover with a Turkoman button, too. Tonight, I decorate. Flissy’s gonna help me with the sides on Saturday… it’ll be like Tribal Project Runway. Also, Flissy is is awesome and deals with stress and Big Life Stuff with such integrity; I need to take notes.

…I cannot wait to get my hands on my commissions this weekend. For reals. Sewing makes me appreciate crafting that I truly love to do all the more. Also? I want to get more than five hours of sleep at a stretch. I had more stress dreams last night. Not as interesting and amusing as last week’s zombie stress dream wherein I found a baby penguin from the zoo and had to safeguard it, more’s the pity. I need a good cuddle tonight. Which is also on the menu, so that’s good, because I feel a little overdue for a nice cathartic cry. Sometimes I get so stressed that I just have to cry for a few minutes, and then I feel better and more clear-headed.

In the meanwhile, let me babble about scented things. I now have about every product Villainess offers in the Jai Mahal scent. It is supa awesome, like chai tea + sandalwood. Their Masala seasonal sent is similar, but this has a positively addictive quality. The boy can’t get enough of it, either. I want a Jai Mahal massage oil sosososobad. I also got a scrub in the limited scent, Trauma, which is ripe peaches plus dragon’s blood. I usually don’t like dragon’s blood, as I find it to be cloying, and there’s no doubt this is a sweet scent. But what makes it work is that it’s not synthetic sweet. It’s sweet like you just bit into the peach and the nectar is running down your chin. Real peach, with a nice resin and musk base.

Also, I tried Savor’s soap in Strawberry Rhubarb. Again, a huge hit with J. However fantastic it smelled, though, it has a very strong olive oil base and melted down to a sliver over the course of four shared showers. Which… as we were on vacation, was incredibly convenient. So I’d say to try it, definitely, but keep it in a dry-ish soap dish out of the shower.

Next up: trying some of the Super Bad soaps… I got Japanese Cowgirl and Girl’s Guide to Compromise. Sunday, I forsee a nice long bath in my crystal ball.

Also: am sad I am not going to the Crucible tonight. :( Provided I am not in NC, I will make a point to come next month and get into trouble with some of my favorite people, who are deeply missed. My friend, A, is going for the first time tonight. I hope she has a good time.
