The good, the bad, the weird.

The bad: Flissy and I could not find pretty bronzey-colored fabric suited to making tribal bras.

The good: We found a really pretty upholstery brocade instead that I like a lot. It's not what we were planning on, and boy is patterned non-stretch fabric an endeavor for the stitchery-challenged like me, but I have faith it will look nice.

The good: Ali of n.o.madic tribal kicked ass today, and I picked up good music ideas and some saucy moves. She was good about explaining where her troupe's signature moves come from, how they differ from ATS moves, and how they kept ATS stylings to honor the artform. Plus, she's pretty much the nicest person on earth. Also? TINY. And smelling all sandalwood-y.

The good: I have made enough on the last update that I've paid for my hotel room this weekend and a nice dinner for me and the boy.

The bad: I severely underestimated the number of shipping boxes I had in stock. I thought I had an extra case. Not so. I bought some, expedited, but things will be going out a few days later than I'd like, minus commissions.

The good: Very modest Sephora splurge. I picked up some Too Faced glitter veil. Yay for sparkly that won't rain down my face and end up all over my boyfriend.

The good: Dunkin' Donuts coffee is very underrated.

The bad: After partaking of some of this coffee at the ridiculous time of 7:15 am on a Sunday morning, I left my wallet behind. I do not function before 8am, people. I got it back, mostly intact. My ATM card was gone.

The good: It was not used, and I should be able to get a temporary replacement tomorrow.

The good: Flissy is awesome.

The weird: Saw part of the 1981 Excalibur. Wow, that is some special acting right there. Could be just a decade-sort of thing, but I giggled at the stylization. Is it just me, or did Arthur sound kind of Irish? And gold lame! In the middle ages! Also? Holy cats, Helen Mirren. I'm not surprised; the woman still looks better in a bikini than I do. AND OMG OMG, Igrayne was played by the director's daughter! Agh! Naked sex scene in front of your dad. EW. I will have to watch this one again, as I fell asleep pretty much right after the beguiling of Merlin.

The good: Vacation begins Thursday night, THANK GOD.
