I don't have snappy titles.

I wish I were playing hooky today. I have too much creative energy and not enough time. I want to be making shiny things. Last night I made something very shiny-- a long, gold necklace with a sizeable green amethyst, and tons of citrine and peridot with accents of emerald and swarovski pearl. Today, I am on the hunt for affordable mini-rondelles in wildflower colors.

Also, my boyfriend continues to be the most obnoxiously cute thing I've ever seen. The scene: the post office, yesterday. I was in line, dropping off something that needed insurance. He was in the next room waiting, but I could see him through the plate glass. So, as I'm talking to the lady at the counter, I notice something weird out of the corner of my eye. He's dancing. Wiggling his butt. Making faces. I almost choked. I very nearly forgot what I was supposed to be saying, caught as I was somewhere between, "oh god, I'm dating a five year old," and "I want to kiss him so bad right now." Sometimes I think that the reason why we're dating is because no one else could stand us. :)

We went home and I fell asleep on him for about an hour before he had stuff to do. Spent most of the evening creating things and yelling at Ghost Hunters International (So... you're in Slovakia... hunting a 9th century ghost... and you're surprised the noises on the EVP recording aren't in English? Idiot.) J got back around midnight and I passed out on him again. tamnonlinear has this whole therory where cats emit sleep rays that cause those around them to become drowsy. I'm pretty sure that when I'm in a cuddly mood, so does my boyfriend.

Tonight: rehearsal, watching Hellboy so I can see the sequel this weekend, more shiny making. Such is my life.
