Lappy update.
Spyware S&D, Ad Aware, Windows Defender, AVG, and SuperAntiSpyware all found and deleted various stuff.
I am still getting a bluescreen every seven minutes or so advising me to uninstall any recently-installed software. The bluescreen goes away with a touch to the keypad (usually, it's stuck once or twice), and otherwise my computer seems to be functioning, but the bluescreen is ridiculously irritating and preventing me from watching movies or otherwise doing other things that take longer than approximately seven minutes.
It appears to be a fakeout-- a bluescreen screen saver, but no matter how many times I remove it, it keeps coming back.
... I am completely ignorant of anything involving deleting registry keys, etc. If I can't get a friend to walk me through it, I'm gonna back up all my info and try to restore to a point before today. But I am done being frustrated with this for today.
