Zombie strippers!
Friday, lovely Friday. I'm a little sleepy, owing to being up past 2am working, but there is coffee and I had an asiago cheese bagel with honey walnut spread. Life's fine.
Yesterday was mostly good. I got home to a major mailday. First of all, my order from SoapBoxCo. Yay for more Jai Mahal scrub. In addition to some Villainess (Kill Switch & Antihero), I got some soaps to try out from companies I'm less familiar with-- two by SuperBad, two by Savor, a salt bar from Magic Hands Workshop (so far, I've been very pleased with their soaps). It's a little funny that so far I haven't tried any of Arcana's stuff yet... still on my list.
I got half of the Victoria's Secret order. Definitely returning the small top for a medium-- fits fine in the band, but the cups are just way too small. Also, yay for two comfy tee-shirt bras on clearance. I hope they continue to fit-- it might just be a weird horomonal flux thing, but I've been a little bigger than usual lately, bra-wise. You are looking at one girl who does NOT want to be a DD. I am not an especially large person-- I very well might tip over. Plus, y'know. Natural boobs are heavy. I am so getting a reduction after I have kids.
I also got half of my supplies. The good: oh my god, prettiest labradorite EVER. Really outstanding stuff. Gleaming all different colors. The bad: I have to buy 26g sterling ball headpins for the micro-gems. The sapphires I got are pretty, but pinprick-tiny. Worked on commissions, worked on other things. I'm currently frustrated with a gorgeous chunk of labradorite I bought. I made a pendant, but can't seem to find anything I like for the collar itself. I did all labradorite-- it looked too chunky. I did spaced out rondelles, it looked too bare. Grah. I'm going to keep playing with it until something makes sense. I think it needs more texture. Ooh! And! I found a good supplier for bookmark bits. I might be making some beaded bookmarks soon.

deliriouscat, and I head to DC to meet up with tamnonlinear for zombie strippers at the Palace of Wonders! Well, almost. An undead-themed burlesque show. Close enough. "Evil Come, Evil Go Go." Saturday is commissions time (and maybe Pride, but I am feeling a bit socially-overwhelmed, so we'll see). Sunday is hiking with The Boy. Keepin' busy, as usual.
