Relaxing weekend
I cannot tell you how much I needed a low-key weekend. It wasn't total seclusion-- Flissy and I went costuming shopping (wherein I scored two gorgeous shisha belt bases), Ariel popped by with snowballs, and I went to my parents' house for Father's day-- but on the whole, I had a good amount of alone time. Just me, chick flicks, and beads.
I made shinies. Garnet and sterling necklace, pearl earrings, brass earrings, chrysocolla necklace, aqua quartz necklace, brilliantly gorgeous labradorite pendant.
I bought shinies. Gorgeous kyanite briolettes, a bone claw, lots of brass bits, amber. I'm about to spend roughly $80 on the materials alone for an upcoming commission-- apatite and citrine and peridot and carnelian. I love when I get to play with the 'spensive stuff.
I packed shinies. Sales from this weekend to be shipped tonight.
I practiced dance and touched up my roots and lolled around in my pjs and fell asleep on the couch. In short-- my more introverted side was in heaven. Top it all off with a visit from my 'gentleman caller,' last night, and it was pretty much the perfect weekend.
