BLITEOW and other sundry notes
Awww, it's BLITEOTW day. I totally forgot, and am feeling kind of uninspired. Maybe I'll knock off a post later today, but mostly I'm liking reading the entries, and if there's someone not on my flist doing a great run, link me, plz. I give you last year's entries, at any rate. This year, I am lucky enough to be dating a guy who keeps a copy of the Zombie Survival Handbook on his desk at work. Just in case. I even referenced him in last year's posts!
Anyhow, sooooo looking forward to this weekend. The Boy is having guy time, and I am having some much needed R&R. Flissy and I are going to work on costuming, I may or may not be doing DC Pride, and I plan on working on jewelry for a good long stretch of time. In my PJs. Possibly with ice cream. I've been so busy and distracted that it will feel awesome to focus on something centering for awhile, alone. A Me Day is exactly what I need.
Aside from that, friendslist, I am having a dilemma. Black Phoenix Trading Post is doing a kickass Four Seasons Inquisition that will give you a non-matching, yet complimentary room spray/bath oil/perfume trio based on your favorite season, and I am TORN between pleading for Summer (L'Estate) and Autumn (L'Autunno). I love all the notes in Summer, but I have always been a TOTAL Autumn girl.

L'Estate
ATMOSPHERIC SPRAY-- Nepalese amber, vanilla infused amber, golden musk, sandalwood, orange rind, ginger, frankincense, and cardamom.
BATH OIL-- Carnation, golden amber, honey myrtle, beeswax absolute, summer peach, cardamom, and vanilla orchid.
PERFUME-- Nepalese amber, vanilla infused amber, golden musk, sandalwood, golden lily, sunflower, and honey myrtle.
L'Autunno
ATMOSPHERIC SPRAY-- Fig leaf, patchouli, black tea, and bonfire smoke.
BATH OIL-- Sage, myrrh, patchouli, molasses, sweetgrass, cedar, and cinnamon sugar.
PERFUME-- Hawthorn, fig, myrrh, carnation, toasted almond, red and green apple, patchouli, wood smoke, and Indian musk.
