Saturday morning, I got up, showered, made breakfast for Jason and me, and then reedrover and tamnonlinear showed up for other weekend festivities in Pennsylvania. We first stopped at a gigantic, four-story barn that had been converted into the world's most kick-ass used bookstore. We're talking 1860's copies of Jane Austen, people. I managed to not buy every neat thing I found, and restricted my purchases to two necessary tomes: The Honest Courtesan: Veronica Franco, Citizen and Writer in Sixteenth-Century Venice and Sodomy and the Pirate Tradition: English Sea Rovers in the Seventeenth-Century Caribbean. That's right. I bought a book about butt pirates.
After a quick stop to drop off stuff and say hi to Abby's family, we were off to Longwood Gardens.

We crashed at Abby's parents' house that evening, though not before seeing Bride & Prejudice. I... okay. I enjoyed the movie. It clearly had a sense of humor about both Hollywood and Bollywood tropes-- ie, lovers walking on a beach at sunset, only to pass by a full, robed gospel choir singing about their love. But yeah, it was some full on cheese. And Naveen Andrews? Yeah, I may never be able to take you seriously as a torchu-rah ever again, Mr. Indian MC Hammer. But hey, Aishwarya Rai is really pretty.
The next day it was off to see Colleen's friend John, as she was scouting his farm for potential does. In the interest of keeeeeling you all with cute, I bring you:
