So, um, I've been absolutely gorging myself of Queer as Folk, season 2.
Initial thoughts that are not particularly spoilery:
-Thank god Melanie and Lindsay finally get to have sex onscreen. All last season was, "Look at our baby- isn't he cute?" and the constant cuddly!femme stereotype made me want to gag. So yay.
-Justin is so trying to be Brian, but it's just not working. He comes off instead as a petulant little brat, because, in the immortal words of my voice teacher, Kyle Engler, "he's just not a top."
-Brian, how I have loved thee and missed thee. Even though thou art a bastard...
-Emmett! I love me some Emmett. I used to love me some Ted, too, but... quite frankly, he's just too headache-inducing this season.
-I am soooo loving Michael's new boyfriend, Ben. Mmmm. Salty goodness. Why are all the perfect ones gay? Because if I can't have Eliza, I will certainly take this guy.
/wibble.
