Girly reviews!

DuWop Duet Eyeshadow in Delilah-- I have been looking for a) the perfect pinky-peachy-gold shade and b) the perfect medium spring green shade forever. All of the pinky ones have been too sheer (though wearable, like MAC's Gleam or Urban Decay's X), and all the green ones too dark (making me look sallow) or too light (frosty pastel! Ick!). And hey! I found both in one convenient little duo. The quality of the shadow is pretty good- not chalky, but nice and smooth with a good color payoff. And considering the price of most high-end eyeshadow duos/trios, this is nicely priced. These colors are definitely daytime-wearable, and are a great way to brighten up a mostly-neutral palette for Spring, if you want a change, but nothing too drastic, especially for redheads or chicks with pink skin undertones.

Stila Summer Eye Shadow Palette-- A palette of light, shimmery shades that will probably look ideal on fairer-toned skin and chicks who prefer a less made-up look. With a quick swipe of eyeliner, this will give a very classic, possibly even retro, eye. To be honest, many of the colors are very similar, especially Kitten and Sun, but they are all colors that look great on me for daytime wear and can be paired with nighttime colors for lots of shimmer. As usual, the texture is buttery-soft. Ray is a great golden crease color. I doubt I'll get any mileage out of the blue, as it's too cool-toned for me, but overall this is a palette that will see a lot of use. Great mirror, too.

Tarte Brush With Greatness-- WHY DID I NOT BUY THIS BRUSH SOONER? IT IS AWESOME.

CARGO SuedeBlush in Sunshine Coast-- This went on a lot more lightly than I expected. Of course, it says "ultra sheer" in the product description, so I can't really fault the product. On my skin, this acts more like a luminizer than a blush, diffusing softly over my cheekbones. It's very blendable, and you get a lot of beautifully-packaged product. The main color that comes through is the neutral pink. I'd like to try some of the other shades (or the beach bronze/blushers) out at a shop, but many of those intrigued me as well. Not what I was expecting, but a useful product nonetheless.

CARGO Liquid Shadow Collection-- If you're the type of chick who gets her makeup done in 5 minutes flat, this is the product for you. These are the best cream shadows I've ever tried. They blend so easily, and you don't need a lot of product to get good color payoff. The only pity is that they don't seem to be available in full-size. I'd buy the neutral pink one in a heartbeat.

Gudonya Too Whipped Clean in Spa Fusion-- It's creamy, it lasts a long time, it doesn't dry my skin. It works well with shaving. The scent was a little bland. Not a terribly exciting product, but you do get a lot for what you pay for. Especially good for travelers and vegans.

Gudonya Too Salty Dawg Shampoo in Citrus Blast-- At first I was thrilled with this product. It took a little getting used to, as the trick is to wet your hair, run it through your hair, wet it some more, and then later. My hair was oil-free and sqeaky clean after the first few washes. I don't know if my hair just adjusted or what, but it seemed that my hair got oilier faster after awhile. Plus, it's a bit hard to get the last bit of product out of the tube. It's an okay product, but I've used better.

Gudonya Too Intense Hair Conditioner in Wild Strawberry Fields-- Great scent. Sticks in your hair for awhile. But there's nothing intense about this-- it's a medium-to-light thickness conditioner that I have to use a lot of to get soft hair. At least it doesn't make me oily.

Gudonya Too Whipped Shave Cream in Wild Strawberry Fields-- Meh. Didn't really lather that well. Wouldn't reorder.

Magic Hands Workshop Soap in Honey & Propolis-- This gorgeous soap lathers like one of Wylde Ivy's olive-based soaps. Silky smooth and more oily than buttery, which I really like because I have dry legs. It's generously-sized and nicely scented with a light, sweet honey perfume. Very pretty. I also got Thai Garden and Ambre de Nepal. They sent samples of Lilac and Eucalyptus as well. I'll enjoy using these.

Magic Hands Workshop Buttercream Body Polish in Hawaiian Sandalwood-- Note: I ordered Sandalwood, and I received Hawaiian Sandalwood. Considering there is no "Hawaiian" Sandalwood listed under the scent options, I'm assuming that this is their normal Sandalwood option. It's like sandalwood + pikaki-- woody, but lightly floral-sweet. Not a bad scent for spring and summer. In its favor, you get a lot of gentle scrub here for the buck-- it's creamy, soft, and decadent without being too oily. It's not quite as scrumptious as my all time favorite scrub, Villainess's Jai Mahal, but it is pretty good.

Littleflowers Lemon Mint Facial Scrub-- First of all, the lady who runs Littleflowers is so sweet! She included two very generous samples in my order. Secondly, this is a quality product. Very refreshing, lightly exfoliating, and suitable for oily skin and daily use. And it smells great. I will likely reorder this one.

Still looking for: the perfect lipgloss. Light peachy-rose-- long-wearing, but not sticky. I'm thinking maybe NARS in Orgasm, but I want to test it first to make sure it's not too pastel on me.
