TGIF.
A little more sleepy than usual this morning. Both Dixie and I had bizarre dreams that kept our minds whirring last night and left little room for actual rest. Must've been some strange energy passing through. In need of a wake-up call, but The White Stripes proved a little too brassy and strident for my mood; I put on Save Ferris instead and now have an overwhelming urge to watch Clueless. Coffee is good, though, and I'm enjoying my two allotted daily cups.
Tonight is various errands before settling in for some relaxation: a stop at the bead shop for silver spacers and a turquoise focal for the commissioned recreation of the "Into Morning" necklace and a trip to the PO to ship international orders. The biz is going well and it's time to start putting money away for the tattoo. Finished a commission last night, then because I was at a component/correspondence standstill with the two remaining ones, I worked on one of my own ideas. Ended up making a really pretty three-strand necklace with amethyst, aquamarine, citrine, and peridot nuggets. They hang asymmetrically from connected sterling silver hammered loops. Very pretty with a crisp dress shirt or a breezy sundress. It's elegant without being explicitly formal.
One last thing before the day really starts: my friend Sarah started up an Etsy shop for nature-oriented products that are created with recycled and recyclable materials. There are pretty home decor items and neat little gift tags to be found. Check out Nature's Silhoutte.
