On comics.
I always said that I wasn't really the comics type. Honestly, the whole supervillains vs. superpowered-crusader in spandex thing never really worked for me. Marvel heroes bore me to tears. I just can't relate.
Then Joss Whedon decided to to Buffy Season 8. And Angel season 6. And more Firefly.
Then a pretty girl gave me the first three volumes of Y: The Last Man, which I devoured in one sitting.
Hell. HELL. Curious that some of the Buffy issues are authored by Brian K. Vaughan. Who also wrote Y. That would explain why Yorick reminds me of Xander with a dash of David Copperfield. Also, 355 pwns everyone on the planet, OMG. The villains are definitely the series' weak point (Alter doesn't make a lot of sense to me, and Victoria could not bite it fast enough, thanks), but it's an interesting world to envision, and I want to see where the story goes.
LIKE I REALLY NEEDED A NEW LEVEL OF NERDINESS. THANKS, GOD.
