Fast notes on the weekend
-- I have gotten a stupidly small amount of sleep the past two nights. Like, 8 hours, for the entirety so far.
-- In addition to having the funniest, most generous, and most intelligent friends in the world, after this weekend, I can without a doubt say that I also have the sexiest friends in the universe, too. Jesus.
-- I've made a lot of art this week. Some that I'm really proud of. Go team me.
-- The wind is blowing incredibly hard outside. We're totally going to lose power.
-- Petsitting has been fine so far today. I've watched a lot of movies, drank a lot of tea. Elizabethtown really wishes it were Garden State. Orlando Bloom trying to do an American accent is funny. Jessica Biel is hot. Kirsten Dunst bothers me, and I can never really figure out why. Great soundtrack, though.

evergleam83 is my new crack van driver. Srsly.
-- Guys, I am so behind. So, I have barely listened to any new music this year, and I kept hearing that cute "it breaks my heart" song on random commercials and wondering who it was. Today, Brooke posted the video for Regina Spektor's "Fidelity," and I was like "OMG so this is who all of the cool kids on my flist have been creaming their panties about for the past year!" I am decidedly not a cool kid. But I'm going to buy Regina Spektor's album anyway.
-- I need a bath. I may fall asleep in said bath. It could be a thing.
-- I feel like my life is a cocoon at the moment. I'm shedding who I used to be and becoming something so much more than I ever was before. The in-between time is a little crazy, but in its own disjointedly beautiful way. Like Alice, I've met some incredibly interesting characters in my own personal Wonderland. And so I'm hanging on and soaking it up. It's all part of the process of becoming, all part of the journey.
