Goodbye November, month of Win.

Hello December... may my streak of win continue!

Accomplished this week:
-- Bead shopping! I got dark green jasper and copper findings for a Cernunnos bracelet commision. I was thinking of putting in some deer horn, but it's a mens' bracelet, and I didn't want the color palette to get too busy. I dunno, I'm going to play around with it. I also ordered Swarovski and bead frames for an earring commission. And remember mood rings? I picked up beads that change color with body temperature. I'm thinking they'll be part of a bracelet.
-- Flissy and I got through our entire program in costume, twice, and it looked good.
-- I had a great counseling session.
-- Whipped my ailing kidneys into shape through judicious application of H2O.
-- I started Giftmas shopping. I got about 1/3 done and ordered.
-- Laundry!
-- Taking some time for myself. Believe me, considering my life is as busy as it is, I consider this an accomplishment. I gorged myself on Bravo, courtesy of Comcast's free holiday cable promotion dealie. God, Daniel Day-Lewis got robbed of that Oscar for Gangs of New York.
To be accomplished today:
-- Dress shopping and shoe shopping with Ariel. I have to look all fancy next weekend, so to Nordstom I go.
-- Groceries. I require more cheese blintzes.
-- Bedsheets laundry.
-- Room cleaning in general.
-- Picking up Tex at Penn station.
--Cernunnos bracelet.
I've got a fairly busy December coming up. Once my Christmas shopping is done, I have to send out gifts and do a metric ton of Holiday cards. Then, I have some goals I want to accomplish. Flissy and I are taking a break after tomorrow's performance so her foot can heal, and I want to set up a practice schedule so I don't lose my fu. And I am going to get my Etsy shop back up in running. I didn't make anything in the month of September at all, and it fell by the wayside. I've taken a few commissions, but that's about it. It's time to get it going again.

Also, weirdly... I have had three nightmares about singing this past week. I think it's because I've been thinking of going back to singing, but haven't done any in the past two years. For gods sake, I used to do operas. This should not be freaking me out so much. Fascinating.

In other news, windiain said that the Thornton's chocolates he sent were the best in the world. Now, I have eaten a lot of chocolate. I'm kind of a chocolate snob. So much so that I'm all 'Godiva, pshah, give me Vosges!" But the Thorntons chocolates? GUHHHH. He was right. My favorite thus far has been the Viennese Truffle with mousse and sprinkled sugar. It was just decadent. So yes, my version of vegging out is tea, a good movie, and English chocolates. In my bathrobe. So classy. Mmmm.
