The bra nightmare part II
I decided to just do the trim on the bra. I got it all sewn down securely, and the straps as well. Now my problems are a) the velvet pooch and b) how to get the kuchi pendant on securely. I may sew a modesty panel in, too-- the bra is plungey and looks a tad risqué on D cups, though Skyler doesn't think so. My two attempts at doing that last night didn't go over so well, but I'm going to try one more time. If it doesn't work, I just won't tie it as tightly, and I certainly won't be the only person baring lots of cleavage at Faire. Fnergh. Anyhow, I'm going to have to tack down velvet bits that have decided to pooch out and be weird, but luckily for me, velvet is a forgiving fabric for such things. And I can always sew the stuff again when I've got more skill.
Night three of sewing starts tonight. My poor fingers.
