Fancy earcuffs on the way.

Today started out positively miserably. The weather here has been nothing short of disgusting-- thick, soupy humidity, heat index of 91 by 9am and soaring over 104 midday. No significant rainfall for over two months-- everything is drying up, dying. I woke up sick to my stomach and dizzy-- heatsickness making me sluggish and nauseated. Not fun.

45 minutes ago, the sky opened up and dumped two months' worth of rain on us. Thank god. I don't have to water the garden tonight.

At any rate, it's payday! And so I did a bead supply order, my first in awhile. Besides commissions stuff, I got some really exciting things. I can't wait to make several of the fancy ear cuffs I have in mind. I even found two kinds of Swarovski crystal that change colors in the sunlight-- so there will be a very special Faerie cuff, if you're into that. Other than that, I picked up fun extras like little gemstone cabochon drops, Goddess charms, miniature leaves, fun things to dangle. The only thing left to buy is chain-- I didn't exactly need 32 feet of it!

I also finally ordered a big 25-yard tribal skirt. I am excited.

Grargh, though. Work is getting busy, and I've been rather low-energy this week. Sleepy, sleepy.
