Sleepy Sunday

I'm getting a little stir crazy. I stayed in yesterday because it was needed, but today I feel like moving. It's storming outside, and that's nice, because we're in the middle of a pretty bad drought, and we need rain or we'll have a crappy Autumn. Not that I can really do a lot of running around at the moment, with my toe all ugly and swollen-like. I would love to be reading in the bathtub right now, but horror of horrors, Sky does not have a tub in his bathroom. At any rate, I'm house-sitting for Dixie next week-- I can stock up on books in the bath then.

Also, I'm preparing to retire the pink hair for a bit. I've got roots growing in, and I just don't have the will to bleach 'em again. Therefore, I think tomorrow, I'll be going back to red. Though I liked the pink quite a lot-- I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a summer tradition.

I finished two necklace-and-earring sets last night. The aforementioned Lady of the Lake, in shimmering abalone shell, and A Carnival of Pearls, which is all pearl and genuine Venetian glass. The latter was likely inspired by Dangerous Beauty, which I Netflixed on recommendation. It was totally up my period-piece alley and chock-full of pretty costuming.

I need to go on a focal bead hunt soon-ish, as I'm quickly running out of interesting focals, but that would require money. Money that I currently have budgeted out this week for Bellypalooza. I'm taking Lisa Zahiya's intermediate class on Sunday, and I'm excited about it. If I get an unexpected sale or something, I'm going to buy some more pendants, though. And ear cuff components. I'm ready to start on those.

Anyway, enough rambling. Time to shower.
