Hafla Pics, Part II!

Pics were taken by deliriouscat and marinatempest's hubby, Steve.

In our notes, this move which we made up was called only "that cute thing."
When we did it, I heard the audience giggle, and I knew the name would stick.

Kallisti Tribal.
Lyra/afoundobject, Amy/ kazoogrrl, Noralita/ noralita.
Their opening dance? "The Safety Dance," of course.

Ariel danced to The Cheeseburger Song from VeggieTales.

Nina Amaya danced to the I Dream of Jeannie theme and a song about um, the kitchen.
Her belt was made of kitchen accoutrements, complete with a teakettle on her head.

Troupe 'Hip'notic did a send-up of what really happens during the rehearsal.
They ended in a can-can, a tribute to Bastille Day.

Noralita did a swanky swagger to "Strolling Wolf" by The Creatures.

Makeda Maysa. Damn, this woman can shake it.
She was also the cutest damn person I've ever seen.

Lyra danced to Tenacious D and Britney Spears.
She also made terribly amusing faces all the way through "A Tribute To The Greatest Song In The World."

Eugenia's solo was anime-powered.

I'm convinced that Naimah isn't even human.
For real.

She's like some out-of-control mechanical snake.

The amazingly beautiful Asharah.
I was sad that I had to go to DC and missed this performance.

Eugenia, Ariel, Lyra, Asharah.

Lyra hooping.

I think someone got inspired!

Naimah and Lyra doing laybacks during open dance.

Flissy being awesome.

Amy and Noralita.

Lyra and Flissy synch up.

Parting glance.

...that's all, folks! Enjoy the bendy goodness!
