Whew! Good weekend.
...if an incredibly busy one. Friday night was Chris's birthday party, then waiting for Matt & Tina's 3am arrival. Saturday was lunch at Desert Cafe (best mango curry chicken salad ever, plus gazspacho!), then out for drinks with Sean (and eventually Jenny). Sunday was volunteering at the MD Faerie festival with Brandie and Bart-- lots of pics to come-- and I came home covered in facepaint, henna, and a completely unseemly amount of glitter. Such is the price of working at a crafts table with lots of small children, many of whom came over to touch my hair. Have I mentioned that I love having pink hair?
I got the cards of lots of awesome vendors, whom I'll mention in my picture post to come, but just for now, lemme say that Darklocks has awesome dreadfalls. The texture of the hair is really nice, and you can get all sorts of funky things put in. I mean, look at this! Way too long for my purposes, but the possibilities are endless. I actually need something more akin to this (about $20/pair), this (about $24/pair), or this, (about $40/pair) in purples, or maybe purple/black.
And I ordered my belt from the Red Camel! Woot.
Okay. Happy, but definitely poor for the next two weeks.
