Magpie!
Mmm, payday. It's slow at work, and I admit to a little bit of retail therapy.
I ran out of Urban Decay Primer Potion a few weeks ago (quelle horreur!), and hey-- what an excuse for a Sephora order, yeah? So I gave in and got Lorac's Snake Charmer palette, 'cause my awesome limited edition Stila blu orchid one has been used all up, the colors are similar, and hey-- cool bellydance theme. Also got the Urban Decay Transforming Potion, which is essentially deluxe LiquifEye. It'll give me the opportunity to turn all of those unloved palette colors into neat liquid eyeliner or wet paint effect stuff. And I got a free full-sized Laura Geller eye shadow duo thingy. Neat. I was also woefully low on Fantasy Bath, so I picked up a couple of bath bombs, as well.
Retail therapy indulged for a few weeks-- at least until next paycheck when I start funnelling it into Tribal gear.
In the land of beadwork, I'm having an Etsy seller iridize two large brass clamshell charms a pale pink, then overlay it with gold. I've seen her other iridized charms, and it'll look great. I'm also picking up XL green and gold iridized leaf charms. I also plan to get some ivory freshwater pearls and a few more big carnelian-pink striped quartz focals.
I've got a BIG rose quartz disc charm and lots of little rose quartz nuggets to work with currently, as well as an agate carved leaf. I'll probably do a hammered silver disc necklace, and my China Fusion coin dangles are gonna get a makeover with tiny pointed dagger drops instead of rounded teardrops. I'm donna make a dupe of the cool mother of pearl and gold chain necklace I made for myself, 'cause I love it, and of course, I'm always available for commissioned stuff. I'll probably start a feedback thread for those who've bought/received stuff.
