Girl meme thing from
sofiaviolet-- this really is the most ridiculous quiz thing in existence. I mean, there's frivolous, and then there's this. Still. You know, it's Wednesday, and I'm bored. I removed a few that were a little too heterosexist for my taste. In all other cases, just assume that "guy" means "guy or girl." I'm over thinking boys are the best thing ever.
What color is your bra today? Black.
Do you swear a lot? Fuck yeah. I mean, uh, yes.
Do you burp in front of guys? I'm not the biggest burper, really.
Do you straighten your hair? Nope. I hardly ever blowdry or heat-style my hair, and I wish it retained its natural wave longer.
Do you worry about the size of your boobs? Sometimes, 'cause they're too big for my taste. I tend to look a little top-heavy in most shirts, so I tend to wear simple tops-- clean lines, solid colors-- to make 'em look a little smaller. Padded bras are a no.
What's your favorite girl magazine? I read Bust, Allure, and Marie Claire whenever there's an interesting copy about.
Do you wear clothes/shoes/jewelry that's uncomfortable? Generally, no. Most people would say that heels are uncomfortable, but I choose pairs with good support and am rarely uncomfortable.
Did you ever spend all day/night getting pretty for a guy? For a hot date, I'll spend a little over a half hour. Picking out an outfit and prettifying doesn't take that long, usually. But I lack hair-fu. I spend the bulk of the time making my hair look somewhat decent, 'cause it resists even the simplest ponytail at times.
Did you ever cry during a romantic movie? Nope. Infact, the only movie I recall crying at recently was Serenity.
Would you leave the house without makeup on? Sure. I tend to wear makeup when going out or to work, though. I generally wear foundation, mascara, and use my Stila pallette for eyeshadow and blush.
On the scale of 1-10 how fun is shopping? Depends on what I'm shopping for and where. Some days, I can't find what I'm looking for to save my life, and other times, everything I pick is golden. It's like the shopping gods have their on days and their off days. I'm not the biggest fan of clothes shopping, though, 'cause for some reason, dressing room mirrors intensify cellulite like it's their sacred duty. I'm a fan of online shopping, though. I can do it in my pajamas at 3am.
Are you spoiled? By Western standards, probably not. By the rest of the world's? Absolutely.
Do you think lipgloss is the best? Not the best, no. Sometimes kind of a pain. But nice when I want a little shine, but don't want to full-out lipstick it. I rarely wear lipstick, 'cause it's a pain to reapply and my lips are already pretty pigmented. I'm a fan of tinted balms, though. I'm currently rocking Burt's Bees in Nutmeg.
How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? About 30 minutes.
Do you wear sweatpants/pajama pants to school? I used to, back in the day.
Is pink the best color in the world? In short, no. I used to virulently detest pink. Now I've found that carnelian pinks and some petal pinks look pretty okay on me, without being too girlie bubblegum pink.
Have you ever dressed unlike yourself to impress a guy? Not that I can recall. Oh wait, yes. I did the schoolgirl thing for Mike's birthday once. Wasn't my thing.
Do you often wish there was something in the past you could change? Don't we all?
Do you dress up too much for holidays? No-- in my family, shorts and Ravens jerseys are acceptable for Christmas dinner. I was the most dressed up, and I wore a black sweater, black pants, and heels.
Do you write a lot of mushy love poems? To date, I have written exactly one mushy love poem. The rest are biting, or wistful, or confused, or melancholy, or even a smidge bitter.
