Boo!
Apparently, today is the day that all the kids in my neighborhood are trick-or-treating.
There was an emergency trip to the grocery store for chocolate and a witch-cauldron pail. Hershey's Kissables (candy-coated Hershey's Kisses) look like pieces in the game of Sorry.
I also got to make friends with my neighbors from Alaska, whom I'd only met once before tonight. I'm going over on Wednesday night to watch ANTM. I think this'll qualify as my first neighborhood friend. Nobody talks to anybody else out here. Coming from the city, where everybody knows everybody else and everybody else's business, that's kind of a surprise.
Anyway, I've got to roll up my carpet. I tracked dirt in like mad last night, and now everything's all stained up. Boo.
ETA: Vaccummed and scrubbed out the spots. Check it out, I have white carpet again!
