My Last Day of Faire: To Sum Up

-- Most disgustingly cute wee little Irish step dancer evar!
-- Skyler bought a kilt! A kilt!
-- I bought a bodice pin that says, 'Yes, they are nice.'
-- Good food, man.
-- Come on of the day: "Hello, my future ex-wife!"
-- Living gargoyles are creepy.
-- Revel Grove is magically beautiful in the Autumn.
-- I need to invest in a cloak.
-- I pwn3d Skyler in archery.
-- We all suck at throwing pointy objects.
-- WTF are those fake pets people wear on their shoulders?
-- Ogled Stacy the bellydancer at Rogues show.
-- Saw 'Heidi' again, for those of you who know of whom I'm speaking. LOL.
-- Had a great cleavage day. You know how some people have good hair days? I have good boob days.

Skyler is trying to talk me into trying out to be a Faire actor next year, since I like it so much. And really, that sounds like a lot of fun. It's just that I think I need another year of walking around and soaking in the atmosphere and ogling all the Prety Shiny Hot People (tm) and drooling over all of the Pretty Shiny Things (tm) for sale and being a general fangirl.

I have resolved to buy a season pass for next year. Also-- new garb. I'd wanted to get some this year, but the job switch made that pretty financially impossible. So-- I'd like a Moresca khadija bodice and skirt, and probably a green Tudor bodice from Greycat Designs to match up to a Wolfstone tartan skirt. Plus, I figure that by then, I'll have some bellydance gear that can pull double duty. So there's that.

Also of note today? Since musicwolf sent me his finished day pass, I only spent $20 on food and entertainments. I bought Sky's mom a cheap but nice birthday present, plus that pin, and that was it. All in all, I resisted the lure of Pretty Shiny Things (tm), and am v. v. proud of myself.
