Add coffee plz.

Gods below, I am draggin' ass this morning. I don't know why-- I got enough sleep last night. In fact, I fell asleep on the couch in front of a DVD of Lost right after dinner. Though I will say that I'm proud of the dinner I made last night-- lemon pepper pesto twisty pasta with egg and seasoned Italian panne. And I didn't even burn the kitchen down! So I slept plenty, but still had a rough time getting up this morning. I generally shower at night because I hate leaving the house with wet hair, and with having had a shower this morning, I feel like I'm stumbling around in a fog.

So, with my body's general uncooperativeness (yes, I just made a word), plus this new job, I have been of the tired and incommunicado. I'm hoping this fixes itself soon, or I'm gonna be buying my own weight in espresso beans. On the plus, I get to hang out with Agnes and Anna tonight. We're gonna eat pizza and watch junk TV. Huzzah.

And I will be at RenFest this closing weekend. I went back and forth about it because by the time I get my next paycheck, it will have been about a month since my last one, with enough to scrape by left over. But I figure if I just keep it to entrance fee and lunch / snacks, I should be fine. There's more than enough stuff to see and do at Faire that's free, and I might even have enough for a round of archery.

New job is new jobby. I like my co-workers, specifically Sara, who's training me. She's also an opera singer, so we passed yesterday telling bad singer jokes and talking about Mozart. The shoes that the partner company sells (Waldies, the original Crocs) are indeed hideous beyond belief, but also ridiculously comfortable. Really. They may actually be the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn on my feet.

Coffee. The elixir of Life.

And I shall leave you, gentle readers, with a quote from Skyler.

"They're vestigial. All three of them."

And no, I will not clarify.
