Hey! It's Christmas, and it's snowing like hell here in Maryland. Or it was. Now it's kinda sleeting. My boyfriend's already been in one minor accident.

I got a big cushy papasan chair and a heated blanket, plus the 6-disc FOTR special edition DVD with the big Gondor statue thigies. Mike and I exchanged claddagh rings. His is silver, mine is white gold. I'm thrilled beyond thrilled. There's a fire in the fireplace, and a ham in the oven and pretty white lights on the tree. And I'm wearing my annual Grinch tie. Yay.

I need one whip-cracking, take-no-shit beta reader for my Giles/Ethan story, Taken. It's about the night Ehygon took Randall whole, and I want it to be as good as it can be when I send it to the person to whom it was originally intended, someone named Hyacinth Girl (it was a Secret Slasha thing, but I blundered on the date it was due.
