Job search update.

Interview #1 - Accounting Staffing firm. Went pretty well, they'll call me if they have anything nearby for me.

Interview #2 - Sales and loan closing for a consolidation firm. Went very well, and I was offered the job. Downsides: wonky hours, kind of hard to get to unless I have a car. I'm going to call to give them an answer on Friday.

Interview #3 - Medical billing & front-desk tasks for a dentist's office that's five minutes from my house. Went pretty well-- the bosses seem to be good people, and there's great communication in the office. They're interviewing two more people tomorrow, so I won't hear from them until Friday. I do think that they want me for the job, though, as they've begun calling my references. I think the big question will be whether or not they can afford me. Sure, it's not a dream job, but it's money, and it's nearby.

Interview #4 - Setting up an interview for a bookkeeping (A/P & A/R) position with a new footwear company in the area. That'll likely be Thursday morning.

I've gotten calls from a few other places, but I really have no desire to work for a title firm, you know? So I'm going to keep my eye on CareerBuilder, Monster, and Craigslist in the meantime. The more I interview, the more options I have.

And I do not like being unemployed. I've technically only been unemployed for two days, one of which I spent marathon interviewing. Today was the first day of sitting home on my duff. Lemme tell you, I like a day off as much as the next gal, but I certainly like paychecks more.
