Faire update.

Okay, so tomorrow is RenFest, and lots and lots of people are coming to hang. Cell phones don't work so well on the faire grounds, so if by chance I'm not picking mine up, here is roughly where I'll be and when:

Arrive: 10:30 - 11:00
The Rogues @ The White Hart Tavern: 1:00 - 1:30 (And now, with cake!)
Mediaeval Baebes @ The Royal Stage: 2:00 - 2:45
Mediaeval Baebes @ The Royal Stage: 3:45 - 4:30
The Rogues @ The White Hart Tavern: 5:00 - 5:30
Closing cannons: 7:00

If you call me and I'm not picking up, you can try texting me, so that way I don't have to worry about not getting reception to listen to messages. My cell # is located in my journal's sidebar under "contact information," for all of you who are on my friendslist.

I will have eiluned with me, and she's welcome to come or go as she pleases so long as she meets us at closing cannon. I'll also be hanging fairly close to tamnonlinear, as I shall be acting as her anti-scum bodyguard. As for Skyler, he's getting sick, so if I call you early tomorrow morning panicking, can I count on you as a backup, Abby? And I hope to bump into Aster and Heather and Yancy and Sarah and... yeah, there are a lot of people whom I could potentially bump into. :)

I have been pretty good about my money, so while I can't afford a new bodice, I can afford Mediaeval Baebes stuff for signing, and maybe a tarot reading, since looking back on it, last year's was freakishly accurate. There will be soup-in-a-bread-bowl and flirting with kilted men and much browsing of pretty, pretty things.

(Ahhhh. Mediaeval Baebes. I shall have my camera at the ready!)

As for tonight, I'm going to see (and hopefully have a book signed by) Neil Gaiman in DC. Not a bad way to spend the evening, really. His new book, Fragile Things, is $25, but it looks really interesting-- you know my weakness for short story collections. Argh. Decisions.

Also, thank you to bellybalt for birthday flowers (stargazers!) and to nalathilion for a really pretty handpainted box that I finally got delivered after struggling with the USPS for about a week. Both are lovely. :)
