That userpic meme thing.
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance does it have.

Counting up-to-down...

Well, Closer ripped me to shreds. I think I'd been in all of their shoes at least once. I particularly liked the concept of willfully creating another persona to disassociate from reality. Plus I was playing with Photoshop and I liked how this turned out.

One of a few multi-purpose "gah, this day sucks" kind of icons. I also made this one. It's Shane from The L Word. She finally lets herself feel something for someone else and gets fucked over royally. Poor Shane.

Firefly fandom, represent. This was just a gorgeous, gorgeous frame. Who doesn't need a floaty ethereal River icon?

Sometimes, the most simple things number among the most beautiful.

Isn't it true, though? This is for all-purpose wankery.

I'll admit it, I like Practical Magic. I want to live in that gorgeous New England house and own my own herbal cosmetics shop. This was another one of my 'playing around with Photoshop' moments, and it's good for use with Pagan-y posts.

This is an illustration of Pomona, goddess of the apple orchard, as created by Thalia Took. I just put it against a leaf background, and I use it in my (many) Autumnal gushing posts.

Old-school Buffy. This is mostly for girl-talk posts, as this comes from the scene where Buffy's discussing how she wishes she could be more like the girls that Angel grew up with. Which, as it turns out, is not such a great idea.

Again, simple prettiness. Nice colors and composition.

Arguably the funniest thing that has ever happened on Project Runway. I don't even watch the show regularly, and I giggled about this for months.

Stolen from God-knows-where. I love the irreverent humor.
Side-to-side...

Charisma Carpenter's nipple. I loved this Playboy spread. That is all.

This one is from Strictly Ballroom, and I use this in dance-related posts. Plus, it was pretty much the best use of the song, Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps I have ever seen. Another one of my fooling-with-Photoshop icons.

Lesbians Do It Better. :) Okay, another The L Word icon that I use when babbling about fandom.

Dark Wesley. Aka, my favorite fictitional character ever. Generally used for more grim-toned posts, but still. Hot.

I love the way Joss creates shadow-characters for Buffy, and of those, I like Faith the best. I love their relationship-- the exchange of power, the moral quandary, the indecision. They're like the yin and yang of my favorite fandom.

A Love Actually icon, because Natalie is the best and I would totally fall for her if I were the Prime Minister of England. Used for *headdesk* kind of moments.

Spring-timey goodness. Not much to say.

I absolutely love the coloring here.

My favorite gay pride / gay rights post icon.

A relatively little-used icon. I just liked the general feel of it.

This icon was made in under two minutes to compliment my layout. I liked the pic.
If anyone's curious about any of my other pics, they're all here. Just ask.
