The gift exchange was a success. Rac looked mucho of the hot in the cool shirt and jewelry that Heather and I bought for her, Heather had a ball with the poseable Monsters Inc. doll that Noble got her, Paige started pouring through a Poppy Z. Brite novel, Aster sucked a fish and gazed lustfully at her "Intercourses" cookbook, and Mark snickered at Dan Savage.
Noble thought it was funny to get me a gigantic Legolas poster. My room decor is white christmas lights and artsy fartsy stuff, like black and white photography, masking taped pictures, and China Inn menu scrolls. So, the huge marketing behemoth should fit right in, no? ;)
Heather and Rac went to Bell, Book, and Candle to get my my first tarot deck and how-to book... the goddess tarot. I got at 2003 Buffy calendar, and a "the best of Maxim" edition with lots of half-clad beauties.
But I like giving gifts. It makes me all warm on the inside. It's my favoritie part of the holidays.
